How do you define a club legend?

Kante's one season with us is the stuff of legend. We'll be boring our grandkids with stories of it in 40 years.

There’s an element of longevity to it I think. I don’t think Kante is really.  Throw in ability, character and a bit of fun too.
 

 

Of the title winning squad it’s Vardy, Mahrez, Albrighton, King Drinkwater, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, and Schmeichel.

Longevity, representing the culture of the football club, memorable moments and showing that you have, at some point, have quality about you.

I know this is all very subjective but you cannot say Drinkwater is a legend and Kante is not.

He played 40 games for us and left as soon as he could. Amazing season but I dunno, as time passes the colder I feel about him

I understand why people feel like that but in 2015 we had never won  one of the 2 major domestic trophies, or played at the highest level of European football. So all of that team are legends for me, especially Kante who was so insanely good that year. But sure, there are no objectively correct answers.

Drinkwater played 218 games 

 

Kante was a great player, but just being good doesn't make you a legend, he didn't really want to come to us and left as soon as he could.
