I did not have Tyler Glasnow save ending with a 7-4 double play anywhere in the realm of possibilities for tonight. Baseball really is amazing.

Despite trailing the whole game, last night felt like a real gut punch. Bottom of the 9th, 2 RISP, nobody out. What a chance to tie it up as a minimum. Even if Barger could’ve got back to 2B, it would’ve given Stringer another shot at it. Agonising way to lose a World Series play-off game.

 

I’m hoping that after being stifled against Yamamoto, this offense is ready to explode. Game 7 tonight is simply the biggest game in franchise history.

Horrific blunder by Barger. He’s played so well this postseason, but if the Jays don’t win game 7, he’ll be remembered for that.
