One of my grandchildren has a cuddly toy she calls Axolotl. I assumed it was a character from a kids TV show.

Just found out today its an actual amphibian found in Mexico

In his Dune universe, Frank Herbert named his disturbing Axlotl tanks after the Axolotl because of its extraordinary ability to regenerate body parts!
