Why do I dislike this bunch of players so much?

I'd rather not get promoted this season, if it meant getting rid of these charlatans and bringing in some players I can get behind...

That got me thinking - I've never heard anything from these players, bar the occasional post-match interview on the club's socials.

We hear rumours, but why are they not speaking directly to BBC Radio Leicester, the Mercury, The Athletic etc etc? All legit news sources that would give them a fair interview.

For example:
Never heard an interview with Faes since he arrived. How does he feel about the relegations? What's his preferred playing system? How did he feel about the boos? He and his partner were close to tears when he signed for Leicester - Has he and his family settled in Leicestershire?

All we know about Faes is that he waddles around the pitch, shrugs his shoulders when something goes wrong and has a habit of slashing tackles and clearances.

And that goes for nearly all the team. The club has no idea about PR.

We might support the players more if we knew about them on a human level. And if they opened up to the locals, they might care about the club a bit more...

I don’t want to hear from the useless ***** because they aren’t going to come out and say what we all want them to say.

It’s just the usual milquetoast,

cliched quotes that don’t match what we are seeing.

I want Radio Leicester to do more but they won’t as it’s too stage managed.  Even when they gave Cooper a bit of a tough question last season, he came out with his usual waffle but they never followed it up.

I just want to hear Soumare to say thanks for my time and I look forward to a new challenge.

I'm thinking about actual sit down interviews, where they can actually talk about themselves.

Not post match/pre match talking head where they get them for 2mins. Not going to get anything worthwhile from them in their tracksuits, with their Louis Vuitton washbags under their arms.

I think part of the problem is that the modern footballer is very different to the footballers of years gone by.

I watched something the other day and Gary Neville was saying something along the lines that in the 90's and the 00's the stats showed the best players (Cantona, Ronaldo etc) got the most touches on the ball. Now adays it's the centre backs.

He said he doesn't want to watch the least talented footballers on the pitch with the ball the most.

My experience of leicester fans is we like players that work hard and give everything, take people on and try to make something happen. I think we are probably struggling with modern football as much as this team.

This side lacks basic drive, leadership and application.

It must be tough for the managers we've had to prepare them,  motivate them and then see the level of 1st half performances we've seen in the last 3 seasons + .

Sundays and Wednesdays 1st half performances were shocking and indicates a major issue in the mentality of these players.

It is positive that we are slowly losing some of the deadwood but I'd like to see a much more decisive cull as there's still a good 8 players we really need to see the back of.

Isn't up to the club to put players forward for interviews if so they won't put anyone forward who will rock the boat, they will only put yes men forward who won't criticise the club.

Which players would rock the boat?

And if they did talk openly about the club, themselves and their motivation, aspirations, their thoughts about relegation, promotion, their motivation and aspirations it certainly wouldn't be done in front of national press or even the LM.

Quite happy not to hear anything from the likes of Faes and Soumare.  Pretty much all of them only say what the club wants them to say anyway.

Cole Palmer ‘interviews’ are something else, I sometimes wonder how even more miserable he would be if he was in this current Leicester side.

You compare their attitude to Sheffield Wednesday's players who are obviously far worse, in a worse situation, it's pretty damning.
