We are 1 win in 5 and that currently is good enough to keep us up, but is that the form we need next season?

We just hired a technical director that usually favours youth and academy prospects, but Rowett will always go for experience

With so many players out of contract is the players that will be brought in the experience that rowett would want or the potential McCarron will probably look for

Is our target next year just to avoid relegation?

Its too early to say, I’m not against giving him the job if he does well, but just surviving especially if WBA continues to play as bad as they are is not enough - we need to see further improvement

I personally think they will complete f*** up the next appointment and we will see a situation similar to Sheffield United this season where we get someone who has us rooted to the bottom of the league. They had a better foundation than we will going into next season and acted quickly (we wouldn’t have) and they got the appointment bringing Wilder back right (we would screw that up too). So yeah basically we are in trouble next season!

Very torn. Too early to say. Well done on him being the first manager since Maresca I've not wanted out after five games.

I have reservations because he's definitely got a track record of favouring experience, which just hasn't really worked for us. But do I believe our board can downgrade - absolutely, and this is what I see happening.

Kind of feels like if he keeps us up he deserve the chance to build something, question would be whether he’s good enough to do that to challenge for promotion. (If still in championship)  could have a solid team around him in Davidson, Sadler, king and Hughes (now we’ve started scoring set pieces)
