Sheffield Wednesday will sell the lower tier on the day regardless if we ask for it or not. I’m mean the club should be asking for it but they’ll pretend it sold out and not be receiving anymore tickets but will  not advertise the fact you can buy them on the day.

Huddersfield away earlier this season sold tickets on the day, our club never advertised the fact, but it was advertised on the Huddersfield Town website. May be worth looking at the Sheff Weds site or even contacting them.

If this is true it's bizarre even for our shit show of a club. Why wouldn't they want to have as much travelling support behind them as possible? Winning this match could be crucial to our Championship survival hopes.

Would Sheff W offer pay on the day for the lower tier to anyone turning up? As we know that our club will never offer general sale for away matches.

saying that Ipswich away tickets went on general sale from the Thursday evening two days before for anyone with 1 or more home priority points

Well ive just rang up the ticket office and asked if there was any plans to open up the lower tier and the bloke said Wednesday have not allocated us the lower tier so there will be no tickets available at any point

It's up to the club to contact them and ask for more tickets, Ipswich got allocated both tiers in the last game at Hillsborough, but we all know our ticket office won't as they are clueless.

An hour up the road club should be asking for as many tickets as possible. They do realise were in the shit and the lads needs as much support they can get, surely? Ive come to the conclusion that since the cup game at Forest where there was trouble inside and outside the ground that our club would be happy with coach 1 travelling and nobody else.

Its mad.  There must be 1500 members who struggle to get to away games that would want to go. Open the bottom tier!

I’m in this boat. Surely they will, no excuse not to.

Bank holiday as well. People not at work, kids not at school. It really is stupid. They try to restrict tickets as much as they can.

They do. Its been the same since Forest or probably before that. ID collecting tickets at away games etc. Until these are all out of our club its going to carry on. Ask any of the players would they rather have 2.5k backing us or 4k in what could be a must win game. Im pretty sure of the answer.

17 tickets left, WU1 and WU7 not been allocated to us, no bottom tier allocated, and significant interest in taking more and we are doing nothing.

And about 8 of them are restricted view aswell

Have just spoken to both ticket offices. Firstly Leicester said that is full and final allocation. Then spoke to Sheff Wed ticket office and they said an extra allocation is available in the Leppings Lane lower but we have declined it. WTF? Think i know who to believe.

It’s obvious we are the ones lying because why would Wednesday not want to provide an extra allocation and receive extra money in their situation?

Club treat us like fools once again.

yeah ive just given em a ring and the woman at Wednesday said there's no reason why Leicester can't request an additional allocation of the lower tier if there's the demand which it appears there is, she said that every other club such as Ipswich requested an additional allocation and for our ticket office to say that they have not been provided access to the lower tier ( as I was told when I rang the club up this morning ) is a complete lie

Last time we went there we took both tiers, sold out both, and it was a midweek game. You think it would be same again especially for a bank holiday.

You would think we would ask for extra tickets. It would stop away fans buying tickets in the home end. If the club are saying to members you've bought a membership but you can't purchase a ticket when some could be available then the muppets in our ticket office are idiots.

My wife rang leicester to ask why we hadn't taken up the allocation of the lower stand - Wednesday are a club really struggling financially and we can help them along with giving lots more members the chance to go to an away day. They wouldn't give any reason as to WHY we'd only asked for the top tier. She asked a few more times if they'd ask for more tickets given fan demand and the guy on the phone said 'I'll pass this onto my manager' and put the phone down...

Our club. They really dont want us their. Surely itd cost them in the long term us going down rather than us getting behind them and keeping us up?

She then called Wednesday and they confirmed what other people have said on here - the lower tier is empty because we didn't request it and it isn't down to Wednesday, leicester have to request more tickets if they want more. The woman on the phone at Wednesday said lots of leicester fans had called saying similar.
