Either way he is 30 years old, earned a fortune in his life so staying in an unhealthy situation with a club in turmoil makes no sense. I cant see him staying at all but if he does, I wouldnt mind it as at that level he will no doubt boss midfields.

More frustrating is the kind of players he will want are the ones we want to see the back of. Also Vestergaard has proven he can't play the high line Russell will want. And Winks... Surely, we can't afford him and he has to go. 

 

In Enzo’s system when we won the league Vesty and Faes spent most of it in the opposition’s half, high line didn’t bother them then, but our ball holding quality has dropped since then so we’ll see.

Irrelevant isn't it? We need almost an entirely new squad. Our best players have to be sold to cover financial shortfalls. 

 

We're going to be stuck with the ones we don't want regardless of whether they fit Martin's style or not. We don't have the money to buy 23 new players even if we could clear everyone out. 

 

He's going to have to make do. It'll be a test of his ability as a coach. 

 

Enzo got mileage out of plenty of players written off as incapable of playing possession football, Wilf, Hamza et all. Even Daka looked good joining up play under Enzo, don't @ me.

I quite like this guy. He doesn't get everything spot on, but for a non-Leicester fan he is quite insightful and balanced. In this video he goes through the players we still have under contract and assesses how they'd fit in under Martin. Unsurprisingly, he finds that we have very few players who are both a) likely to flourish under Martin; and b) likely to still be with us next season.
