I've to wait a whole week to watch that again. No penetration from midfield Skipp is just a touch player, handy in a good team but we need more than that.

 

We need pace and power thru the middle.and RM keeps the 2 quick players we have  Aluko and Coulibaly on the Bench.  

 

No Strikers, That's 6 games between Reid and Cullen and one goal to show for it. Let's hope the new lad settles in quickly and delivers.

Best ball of the match was a long ball by Braybrooke swung out to Burns who squared it to BDR who didn’t sink it hard enough.

That was horrific. Fair play to anyone thats drunk the cool aid. Dont hurt yourselves when Russ gets sacked. You're just stuck in a cult.

 

A team thats probably favourites for relegation were so unfortunate not to beat us today.

Some interesting takes on here. My view from the other end for what it’s worth was that it was everything I said it would be, your have the far more talented team and the class showed at times, however what you didn’t have was the intensity, desire and heart for the battle. A draw was the least we deserved and I think some of the comments that we are **** are a little harsh. First game back at this level for over 10yrs against former premier league champions. If we’d had more of a natural striker we win.

 

i still think you go up - Martin won’t last long, you need a Dave Challinor style manager to realise you need more than tippy tappy football. Sort that and you’ll be fine. Was the perfect time to play you today. Interesting your take on the ref, we thought he had blue tinted glasses; slightest touch and you got a free kick. Overall would have snapped your hand off for a point today and we showed that hard work can be better than talent when talent doesn’t work hard. I think we showed enough to believe we can compete and survive, you just need to adjust to the battle and fast - a lesson we learnt in NL, no matter how big you are for the level other teams are no respecters of that. Best of luck for the season and see you in March!

I think as a team you were good, but christ, the final product looked non league. Id be annoyed if someone was earning a salary to kick a football professionally did some of the things your forwards did.

 

That being said...we paid 20m for patson daka to look pretty much the same

 

Unfortunately Martin will be here for a long while. Hes a likeable guy around the club and top has wanted him for ages.

We played with one striker, an Australian lad who’d been playing in Finland 🤷‍♂️ we all know we need a striker so agree with you, sadly the chance your keeper gifted in the 2nd half went straight to our centre half… anyone but him 😂 I can’t see Martin taking you up unless your prepared to start fighting, we wanted it more today and that’s unforgivable for any team

I hope you do well this year to be fair. I'm proud to say my local team that I follow, coalville town did better against you than Leicester did haha.

 

I can't see it either, if we were to somehow do it i think it would be down to the players. The guy talks such a good game and sucks people in. But if you actually watch his teams play, I dont know how he keeps getting jobs.
