The Don Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 Assuming we need 51 points to be safe (stayed up on goal deifference last year on that amount) That would mean 25 points from 19 games. - 6 wins 7 draws and 6 losses.# Plymouth (A) W Sheff W (A) D Cardiff (H) W QPR (A) D Wolves (H) L Brighton (A) W Derby (H) D Leeds (H) L Ipswich (A) L Hull (H) W Luton (A) L Millwall (A) D Reading (H) L Norwich (A) L Palace (H) D Preston (H) W Cov (A) D Plymouth (H) W Southampton (A)L By my guesses above I make we get 6 wins 6 draws and 7 losses gaining 50 points and relegation and that is including 2 away wins. City Fan Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 Unless anything drastic happens, it will probably be this: Plymouth (A) - D Sheff W (A) - W Cardiff (H) - L QPR (A) - D Wolves (H) - L Brighton (A) - D Derby (H) - D Leeds (H) - L Ipswich (A) - L Hull (H) - D Luton (A) - D Millwall (A) - W Reading (H) - L Norwich (A) - L Palace (H) - L Preston (H) - W Cov (A) - D Plymouth (H) - W Southampton (A) - L Which is another 19 points. However knowing Leicester, we will probably beat Palace, Reading, Norwich etc, and lose to Plymouth, Hull etc.

Hoofing is history Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 There is no way we are going down. You are all pessimistic and faithless. Keep the faith.
Chimp Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 I've been keeping the faith all season mate, I've backed the team and the manager all the way. However, there comes a point where you realise that maybe your faith isn't based on anything but sentimentality and hopes which the facts don't back up. We seemed to have reached a high point toward the end of November and had a good win against SUFC, after that things have progressively looked worse, not only in terms of results but also in managerial decisions. I'll keep supporting the club and the players but don't for one minute think I won't be sweating all the way through it.

IDEA OR IKEA Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Not sure mate, but i would turn a few more of those draws into losses - i worked out 12 - 15 pts should definately be in the bag by May but it all depends on how the teams around us get on. Sheff Wed have just strengthened Millwall have come into a bit of form Derby (it huts me to say it) i think will get out of the mess. Crewe i think will go down One of Brighton or Plymouth will go
