Foxes 2 da grave Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I recently got it for xmas off amazon for £15 and i can easily say it was the most exciting and addictive set of films i have ever sat and watched. The story and characters are amazing and i can easily say i am so happy i picked it up for this price. I would recomend it to anyone who likes a long film with a good story. What are the foxestalkers views?

Finnegan Posted 7 January 2006 Posted 7 January 2006 Godfather's gotta be up there, it's definately better than Star Wars (both lots) and LotR. I have to say though, the best trilogy (in my opinion) is probably the Infernal Affairs trilogy, from Hong Kong. They were billed as being "the modern Godfather" or "Hong Kong's reply to the Godfather" when they came out, and coming from a country that's given us some of the best action, thriller and drama over the years, that's quite the claim. Unfortunately Martin Scorsese's doing an American remake and turning it into Boston cops vs. Irish mob drama with Leo DiCap and Matt fecking Damon, so get it while it's still original! (The original's a Triads vs. Hong Kong cops story with Andy Lau [House of Flying Daggers] and Tony Leung [Hero]).
Hitesh Posted 7 January 2006 Posted 7 January 2006 They are very good! Some excellent films! I got Die Hard Special Edition, Shawshank Redemption Special 3 Disc Edition and Anchorman all for less that £15! Not too bad. I also got R Kelly's greatest hits!
