syston_fox Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Havent been able to get this song out of my head sinse last night. Cant believe how the place was rocking at the end - just goes to show that the stadium can actually produce an atmosphere! Well I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I la-la-like it, la-la-la, here we go-oh! Rockin' all over the world!

Leicester City Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Havent been able to get this song out of my head sinse last night. Cant believe how the place was rocking at the end - just goes to show that the stadium can actually produce an atmosphere! Well I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I la-la-like it, la-la-la, here we go-oh! Rockin' all over the world! I agree. I've been singing it all day! I don't really like it too! But not last night. I lost my voice last night and couldn't speak this morning. Quite strange feeling to speak but no sound comes out. I've never sang at City as much as i did last night. Come on City!
riggyswfc Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 It's better when you're singing it at the Millenium Stadium Well done though....
Katy Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 It was played alot in the promotion seasons and when we beat Middlesborough at Hillsborough in the League Cup. Its a cracking 'we've just won an important game' song
tshine Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 It was nice to see every1 in K standing on their seats dancing at the spurs fans. I loved it
davieG Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 As good as you all might think it was I remember a time when the fans didn't need some jaded old pop song to get them all singing and cheering. I hate the idea in priniciple, just manipulation. But glad you all enjoyed it.

syston_fox Posted 9 January 2006 Author Posted 9 January 2006 it was after the final whistle so it wasn't so intrusive, the re-mixed PHG was played after goals i believe I love the remixed Post Horn Gallop. You can see people bouncing up and down in tune to it, and is much better than the boring version that Henry used to blurt out!
Jay Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 it's ok for about the first minute they need to loop it before the cheesy coconut horse sounds kick in!!!
Durnerz Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 it's ok for about the first minute they need to loop it before the cheesy coconut horse sounds kick in!!! LMAO too true Jay.

Tommeh Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Downloaded it ages ago but ain't listened it for ages though until last night, Straight on my ipod had it playing ever since
Matt Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Everyone's talking like this was the first time the song has ever been played at the City, Its played quite alot really, Normally at then end of the last home game when everyone is asked to stay behind after the match, and the song is being played before most games quite often, if not all the games recently. It just sounded so good last night because we had some feeling, some passion, some happiness from both ourselves (as fans) and from the players!
Tommeh Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 old skool classic, cant beat the quo i was singing shiting all over the spurs standing on my seat at the end singing it. it dont get better than that
The Reverend Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Brilliant! Reminded me of the good old days of the cup finals, promotions etc at Wembley!

There was also a time when you could get over 30,000 into Filbert Street which by virtue of the crowding would generate an atmosphere. Times change though. In the context of last night, the music was great. If we could put a run together, the reworked PHG after goals will be great. I love to see people jumping up and down to it. The past isn't coming back, we are where we are. Lets enjoy it while we can.

I don't want to argue the point it was just an observation and a personal viewpoint, BTW there didn't need to be 30,000 either 12,000 to 15,000 and the crowd were still generating their own sound and atmosphere. As for music after goals well, that I just don't comprehend at all.
Matt Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Forget "Rocking All Over The World" What LCFC should really be playing is Status Quo's - Down Down Could even have our own lyrics for it Status Quo - Down, Down. Going down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Going down deeper and down I want all the world to see To see there laughing And there laughing at Levein I can take it all from you Again again again again again again again Deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Going down deeper and down I have all the ways you see To keep you guessing Stop your messing with LCFC You'll be back to find your way Again again again again again again again Deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Going down Going down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Going down deeper and down I have found out you see I know what you're to LCFC What you're doing to us I'll keep on and say to you Again again again again again again again Deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Going down
