Brightonpier Posted 18 January 2006 Author Posted 18 January 2006 my uncle lives in brighton and says thers no way the stadium has the full backing as residents will again ask for a legal enquiry or some other shit delaying it at least another 3 years You are never going to get the full backing of any residents no matter where you are.Our club had no intentions of starting to build Falmer for another year anyway.Lewes district council are going to end up with egg on there faces in taking us,the government and Brighton city council to the high court.They will lose without doubt and foot all costs.Then the residents will be pleased when there council tax bill is raised again.Falmer wasn't going to be built for another 3 years anyway so there's not much of a delay.What Lewes don't want is for it to drag on because the costs will runs into thousands and thousands.
