Matt Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Some bastards clipped my wing mirror on my car and knocked it off, Don't know who did, I went into the chippy come out and find my mirror off. At least leave your details - I know its not a major problem and it's not big damage but surly its common decentcy to leave your details...I'm just counting myself lucky my passenger door ain't been bumped or dented, else I would be seriously pissed off.

Someone did that to my car too. But they also dented my door (quite a bit). I was fuming when I found that in the morning, when I approached my car to go to work It is soooo annoying. And you have to pay for it. And best not claim it on the insurance or your premium will go up too (how unfair)

If I could legally I would be more than happy to go uninsured. Insurance = Pointless.

Unless it was expensive and you cannot afford a new one yourself. I know someone that did. Paid HUGE insurance premiums for 5 years :-(

Ric Flair Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Matt moaning again I see, excellent stuff. Someone knock the other one off tonight!
Collymore Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 You wanna get yourself an old mk3 golf mate, the wing mirrors are indestructible. I've clipped numerous wing mirrors and totally shattered them while mine have wanted me to turn back for more. (not through my clumsy driving but narrow 'every car for it's self' lanes) Some chav jock in Glasgow attacked all the wing mirrors on a street and mine was the only one that he couldn't break! He managed to knock the cover off but it's still in working order. The other cars had been knocked off completely.
