syston_fox Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Mentioned on radio leicester that the Tigers quarter final versus Bath could be held at the walkers stadium. Has anyone heard any more on this?
Tommeh Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 With the football we're playing the ball spends more time in the sky than on the pitch
AyewJoking Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Tigers can have the Walkers when we go down and go out of business.

Jimmy Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 But won't the pitch get wrecked??? have you seen it lately? its cut up already, but atleast we'd make some money out of it
Ajax Treesdown Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Tigers can have the Walkers when we go down and go out of business. Thats cool, we can have Welford Road ground better atmosphere there!!!
Finnegan Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 But won't the pitch get wrecked??? After one rugby match? Grow a brain, sunshine. If the groundsman can't cope with one game of rugby then there's something wrong him. There might as well be one day this year that the Walkers Stadium gets filled. If it can't be blue it might as well be green. Besides, Reading have been sharing the Madjeski with Irish all season and if they can manage top of the league, I think, somehow, we can save the turf.
Babylon Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Excellent... get to see my new team beat bath in the Walkers. Fcuk Leicester.... TIGERS TIGERS TIGERS TIGERS.

Reading have special synthetic strands of grass sewn in with the real stuff though,
Leicfox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I repeat, after one rugby match? I suppose it depends on the weather, if its not pissed it down for days before hand, no cant see a problem.
