Steve Cotterill's Blue & White Army.......

According to the might Sun newspaper, we are stepping up our hunt to appoint Steve Cotterill as our new manager. I'd be relatively happy with that, he certainly appears to have the tactical knowledge.

It also says Mike Newell is a contender and Ian Holloway who has a £50,000 buy out clause!! He's defo worth £50,000 for his interviews.

As a Sunderland fan i think that Cotterill is a decent bloke. But while he and Wanko were here there was no sign of anything miproving - not tactically, not motivation, not team selection, nothing. Cotterill gave up the Stoke job to come to us, and he has only just got the Burnley job, which is a step down anyway. My guess would be that he would have more sense than to give up another manager's job to join Wanko again.

Wanko is going mate, he won't stay. The fans wouldn't let him anyway! If he stays there will be plenty of shit hit the fan (excuse the pun)

Not sure about Cotterill at all. I would rather have someone with a bit more experience. Also associated with failure at this club.:unsure::huh:^_^ <_<

No chance of Cotterill coming here. He'll want to give the Burnley job a good go.

I could imaginme Coterill being a very defencive manager.

I doubt he would leave thoug, if he left Burnley after such a short time he would get a really bad rep as an oppurtunist and find it difficult to be re-employed

Exactly - any future employer would definitely note his lack of loyalty if he left now.

I wouldnt mind Cotterill in but i doubt he will leave Burnley after such a short time there.

The fact that he hadn't been at Stoke for long didn't stop him before but It's stiill very unlikely. Remember the story was from the Sun so it's reliability has to be questioned.
