Oli Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 I have a horrible feeling that he will be appointed. I am praying he isn't.
Anish Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 He must be kidding himself if he thinks he's gonna get the job here. What a fool he is.
Wellman Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 u say that, but as we are leicester, we will go and appoint him
>>>Bevan<<< Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 OMG i cannot belive it, he'll probably get appointed aswell cuz he was at the club under brian little.
Steven Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 Hope he gets it. 26733 That is a wind-up. :w00t:
Scow Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 Hope he gets it. 26733 I am mortified - Look what he did with the sheep. BM, what makes you think he would do a good job?
Guest Daniel Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 I dont think he will, just thought it'd liven the place up abit.
Ricey Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 He is a crap manager who falls out with players, great
Anish Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 He is a crap manager who falls out with players, great 26740 Reminds me of somebody else who used to manage us not so long ago!
Steven Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 JOHN GREGORY has told Leicester he can take them back to the Premiership if they appoint him manager. Now he is in the Sun as well. :!: <_< <_<
Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2004 Posted 15 October 2004 I wouldn't mind Gregory as manager. Bollocks to what he did at Derby, they were a sinking ship when he took over. He does fall out with players, but look at the players he fell out with - Collymore, Yorke and Kinkladze. Not the most easiest of characters to get on with really. He wouldn't take any shit and I think we would be pleasantly surprised by Gregory. I don't know why I am saying this because usually i'd be slagging a manager of Gregory's calibre and past off but I get the feeling he could be good for us. If we don't get Newell then I want Gregory.

Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2004 Posted 15 October 2004 Check Gregory's record out for Villa, it was pretty impressive to be honest. Never finished outside the top 8 in his 4 seasons. That isn't a bad record, all he did wrong was get Derby relegated in his 5 months in charge.

He also had a bit of a hack in division one with them aswell, but it is common knowledge that some managers can do well at one club and then crap at the next. I just think people like McCallister or Pearce are too risky really. What makes you a good manager? and if you have a bad spell as a manager should you never be allowed to manage again? There's too many names flying about. I have heard Pulis from Stoke was interviewed yesterday according to Century FM. What do you reckon to him?

What do you reckon to him? 26796 John Gregory - NO It's not just his record as a manager he comes with too much baggage I would actually have doubts about his integrity - there is more to JG than meets the eye he comes across as a wide boy, a con man and a devious self seeking individual. I'd rather have Bassett. John Gregory - Absolutely NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.
