AyewJoking Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 So we "lucky" City fans have been given the chance to buy a shirt which is out of date come the end of the season, with Gudjonsson 16 on the back, who is leaving at the end of the season. At the knock down price of £15!!! Is anyone going to buy one of these? Its madness I tell you!

Im all for making money for the club but I wish they didnt treat us like twats
Shum Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Personally I would not buy it, but people may want to buy it. It's a bit of marketing by the club after the wonder goal to try and get rid of the many shirts thay have left. Fair play to them for trying, and you're a fool in my opinion if you buy one! Unless you were going to get it signed and framed along side a picture from the game. Now that's an idea for the study! Hmm.

Leicester City Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 if you don't want it, don't get it, no problem
AyewJoking Posted 7 March 2006 Author Posted 7 March 2006 if you don't want it, don't get it, no problem Are you buying it, if not, why not?
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Are you buying it, if not, why not? Get 4 or 5 its the only way to appriciate it
Strokes Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 I would buy one, if they were signed. But £15 is a rip off without a signature and less than 12 games to go.
Sir Fynwy Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Are you buying it, if not, why not? Maybe he won't buy one because he doesn't want one?
Leicester City Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Maybe he won't buy one because he doesn't want one? Exactly.

The club is in the business of making money and if you see that as ripping the fans off then maybe you should go and watch the Cricket
Shum Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 How are you being ripped off? You have a choice buy it or don't buy it! Spot on my friend.
Ric Flair Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 It's spin and nothing more. Nobody is being conned unless they purchased a City shirt with Gudjonsson 16 on the back yesterday for the full asking price, so what's the problem? I know it gets abit annoying when the club keep coming up with these ideas but they aren't doing anything other businesses don't do. If it offends you then it's wise you go to see your GP asap as it appears you might of had a nervous breakdown.

Bert Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 If you aint got a shirt and are going to get one they cost £10 anyway and you might as well have a name on it if the new one is coming out! A Bargain i say!
