Giant Flag?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone watched the video on Leicester City world about the new season tickets? Apparentley at the game tomorrow, a giant flag (about the size of the penalty area) will be passed around the crowd or something like that! Sounds like another disaster like all those balloons and beach balls fired into the crowd a few home games ago!

Sounds like a quality idea to me! But you would think it would be kept for more high profile games. It just won’t seem right when we’re playing Plymouth at home!

It could cover the empty seats, though.

I think this is the problem with Leicester fans; we moan and moan that the atmosphere is crap, blame the club, then when the club does something (which is done in many a ground - Liverpool for one) they deride the attempt to at least try and start something decent.

P.s. Liverpool's Kop is situated at the other end to the away supporters before any uses that against the club.

Bout time we had massive flags in the stands.

Remember in the kop we always used to have them (filbert)

How long til everybody decides they want a bit of the flag to keep for some curtains and it ends up in 30,000 peices, everybody able to take a bit home..?

I think its a great idea, but I am not for this 'We're in it Together' slogan..

I mean.. things are looking up now, we are winning games and looking difficult to beat, and most importantly we are looking good, and the slogan 'We're in it Together' seems to say we are deeply in the shit and we are on the brink of going down, both not being true..

Atleast the club is trying to do something different! When I went to Ipswich away this year, they had a massive flag thing with there kit on it being passed around the ground. That was MASSIVE and looked well cool.

i see the clubs tryin to pass the "were in it together" slogan now after foxes never quit and keep the faith.haha what a joke

Just another marketing ploy... all part of the club's push to sell more STs.

People need to stop being so negative. The club is trying to help and some of you are complaining. We ARE in it together, wether we are in the **** or not, so lets be positive and not knock the clubs ideas before they've had a chance.

My brother suggested having a massive flag at the ground ages ago to the club. It was either in one of those surveys or through the Trust. Two or three seasons late but they've used his idea now.

It's a good idea but knowing Leicester the flag will be the size of a teatowel

I've heard it's the size of the penalty area :o

It was great to see it today, I got in my seat just before the lads got out and I was informed by a woman who sits near me that I have just missed it as it went across the east stand..

It then went on its way back to the Kop and I was so close to touching it and all of a sudden it went upwards! We couldnt believe it.. it was great though.

Same thing applies at most grounds including Old Trafford and Highbury where the main support is seperated from the away fans. I 've got a solution why don't all those who sit in the kop and want a sing song and banter with the away fans buy ticlets for the East Stand(Although this might be a problem if most of the seats are taken by Season ticket Holders) Just a thought.
