werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 most important goal of the season???? IMO it has to be the Hughes last gasp winner at QPR. Still remember walking to Loftus Rd that night truly believing that we were certain to be relegated. 90 tense, exciting minutes later, pride and hope was restored!! the joyous scenes in the away end were memorable!! cant think of a more vital goal this season??? anyone?? Bert Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 Every single goal scored this season has been as important as the next Imo.
martyn Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 Fryatt v QPR. If we hadn't got the equaliser so quickly after they'd scored it could have been a completely different game.
Unit Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 Since we're all talking about the QPR game, anybody notice that we pertty much runied their season? they were pushing for play-offs when we beat them, a few days later Mr Holloway decided he'd fancy a bit of City and ever since then QPR have been wank.. Ha just noticed we're 2 places above them now

The Don Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 Joey Gudjonsen Why is he going to Holland btw The most important goal was the one we conceded in Leveins last game in charge. Nail/ coffin / last /
Polyphonic Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 I think the most important goal for me, was Paul Wotton's goal for Plymouth in CLs last game in charge, if we had a drawn the game CL might have kept his job and well god knows where we would have been now ! lookwhaticando Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 The last goal conceeded under Levein was undoubtedly vital to our survival. Just as the winner against QPR which really set the revival in motion. Winning away was just what the doctor (Rob Kelly) ordered.
SystonFox Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 Fryatt vs Wolves to show it wasnt just a fluke that Kelly won his 1st league game in charge and to show we mean business.

lookwhaticando Posted 13 April 2006 Share Posted 13 April 2006 huh?? was that his last goal before being transferred maybe??? No, he wasn't shipped out until the last day of the month - he played a few other games before he left. He scored a hattrick against... flip the team evades the mind at the minute... Stoke? before he left. edit: Yes he put a hattrick past Stoke on 9th August, three weeks before he was shipped out.
