Easter

Well happy easter i suppose, but does it mean much to anyone?

Obviously the ''hard core'' christians will class this as a hugely important day, but for the rest, is it just about giving chocolate eggs?

It makes me laugh how people pick and choice when they want to be religious, i.e. the majority of us, including myself, get presents at xmas, eggs at easter and have pancakes on pancake day, yet we never go to church, pray or take part in religious activities.

Personally Easter is just another day for our family, i only ask because i wondered why am i on foxestalk on Easter day? well really it's no more than being together as a family, having dinner etc and yes giving chocolate.

Is that wrong?

Yeah that makes me laugh aswell Benj! I don't think i've ever been to Church other than my baptism and a few weddings. But I am religious on the three times of the year you mentioned

Id rather xmas and all the other holidays including my birthday just pass me by as well. I aint bothered its just another day IMO!

I didn't get any... but I'd like to thank both the Christian faith (for once) and the Government of this country (for once) for affording me some days off which have allowed for some serious bare-faced-pubbery.

As for Easter Eggs, I didn't receive any, but did muse yesterday - my do Cadbury's not do a huge Easter Egg sized cream egg?

Pray - What for might aswell speak to the wall...there is no such thing as god IMO (IF there was a god "watching over us" apparently "caring for us" why would there be so much devide in the world? war? illness? debt? e.t.c...Obviously everyone has to die, If no-one died the world would be overpopulated - They world is overpopulated or getting that way as it is, but why is there so much death in so many bad ways?...I thought god was there "caring" for us "watching over us"...I've had no "signs" from god yet )

Take part in relegious activity's - Nope again not for me.

However - Yes i'll take the time off when its Christmas and Easter e.t.c.

I reckon a solid chocolate Easter Egg would be cool.

Also, it could make for a random murder weapon. No one would suspect a thing. It could be an ironic way of killing a chocolatier or a hen, for example.
