Knighton Matt Posted 19 April 2006 Posted 19 April 2006 Hadn't heard this album for donkeys years so stuck it on the other night! What an album forgotten how good it was. First half of the album is blinding, shame it tails off a bit towards the end but there's tune after tune after tune amongst the first 7 or so tracks. Anyone else a fan?
The People's Hero Posted 19 April 2006 Posted 19 April 2006 Yabba-dabba-doo mate. To re-iterate - Yabba-dabba-doo. To abbreviate - Yabba. To acronymise ( ? ) - Y.D.D
Chairman of the Bored Posted 19 April 2006 Posted 19 April 2006 I used to be a supergrass but kept getting beaten up.
hairy Posted 19 April 2006 Posted 19 April 2006 Got hooked on them when they released caught by the fuzz. I think Supergrass has to be their best with moving and mary on it. They've gone downhill since then in my opinion.
Sigma Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 One of my favourite albums. I saw them on tour for the album - it was my first gig back in 1997.
martyn Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 Decent album. Richard III is still a blinding track.
Population-1 Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 Simply put, IIFTM is the greatest album of the 90's....it really is that good. Then again, in my humble opinion Supergrass are the finest band to emerge during the mid 90's era, they have released consistently better records then the likes of Blur, Oasis etc. Simply don't get the credit they deserve. Listen to their latest, 'Road to Rouen', its a majestic little album. They are as good as any band emerging at the moment, but sadly people still seem to associate them with the 'Alright' boyish antics days.
Katy Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 Yes, used to be a big fan of the 'grass but im not overly keen on their newer stuff. Late in the Day is a cracking tune.
Guest Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 Decent album. Richard III is still a blinding track. It's one of my faves!
