Nationwider Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 Green Wing has to be my absolute favourite programme of the last couple of years. Seriously warped humour. Alan Statham is one of the funniest comic characters I've seen for ages. Anyone else into it?
Libertine Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 Love it. Haven't watched any of this series yet though.
Nationwider Posted 21 April 2006 Author Posted 21 April 2006 Love it. Haven't watched any of this series yet though. The first one was weird, even by GW standards. Last week's was hi-la-ri-ous.
Ricey Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 Green Wing is totally off the wall but really funny with it, I love Sue White and Alan Statham
willy37 Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 brilliant! i love the fact there are so many people who have been in other good comedies. eg dan moody from alan partridge, sophie and johnson who were in peep show..plus many others
Tommy Posted 21 April 2006 Posted 21 April 2006 I might start giving this a watch tonight, do I have to have seen previous episodes to get into it properly?
Nationwider Posted 21 April 2006 Author Posted 21 April 2006 easily the best one so far! and dr statham is quality He is a legend. Quite a quiet episode for him, I thought. He crashes his car into a skip before later finding it parked in his own office, argues with/racially abuses car-park attendant, assaults another random woman in the car park, smashes his own "World's Greatest Lover" mug after claiming his mother bought him it, molests a patient on the operating table and partially ingests their gall bladder and finally gains his own parking space, only to find it filled with surgeons having a barbeque and bikini-clad girls playing beachball on it.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Love it. Bought the first series DVD for £13, bargain.
joyceys barmy army Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 My favourite Statham scene has to be when hes playing ping pong on the walls and then has an argument with that blonde lad who says " **** there is a wolf!" and statham fires his ping pong ball at the old woman. pure qulity if you know which bit im talking about; comic genious
Nationwider Posted 26 April 2006 Author Posted 26 April 2006 ' date='Apr 26 2006, 02:59 AM' post='307501']Hope the new Avatar's appreciated. Superb. I need to find a Guyball ("it's Ghee-ball") one now. .....da-daa!
