I was always brought up to be kind and polite to women. The burdens of a responsible upbringing, eh! I actually found it easier to deal with three footballers trying to kick me to pieces against Ripley Miners Wefare than a woman with a contrary point of view to mine. I was able to get my point across to the miners (even if it did cost me a gashed forehead and another lengthy suspension) but women... I married the only one that wouldn't give me hassle.
