foxes_fan Posted 24 May 2006 Author Posted 24 May 2006 Is there a way of just whipping my whole system and starting from scratch?
Cobbo Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 Yep, it's called formatting, or just reinstalling windows.
foxes_fan Posted 24 May 2006 Author Posted 24 May 2006 I reinstalled windows and it worked. Thanks for everyones help and suggestions.
Rincewind Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 Mines all clogged up I think. Needs a good clear out and restart from scratch. I'm getting a message from Microsoft telling me my Windows version could be counterfeit. Well TBH I phoned the bloke who does my upgrades and he said it was a pirate version of XP. But what Microsoft are doing now is finding the systems that have the dodgy ones, There is a patch validation code available from the internet. He mentioned spybot as well. Thanks for reminding me.
