Chairman of the Bored Posted 7 June 2006 Posted 7 June 2006 He's just said that England have a "mental block" in big tournaments. At least we don't have a goal keeper who falls over at the slightest contact, tries to get players sent off and is such a knob head gets sent off after 15 mins of the European Cup. Lehman, you suck.
Benji Posted 7 June 2006 Posted 7 June 2006 But we've not won the cup since 1966? he has a point... He is a dick though, makes me chuckle when players go for the ball with him and guarenteed he ALWAYS reacts
Stevosevic Posted 7 June 2006 Posted 7 June 2006 Arsenal fans love him though, dont ask me why. He is a first class knob, and you are right, always trying to get players sent off and moans about the slightest contact. loved it when he got sent off in the cup final. truely deserved the cheating b*****d.
samingram_uk Posted 7 June 2006 Posted 7 June 2006 he's a nob. he kent catch the ball so he punches it. girl.
Lemon Harpic Posted 7 June 2006 Posted 7 June 2006 Arsenal fans love him though, dont ask me why. He played in every round of the Champions League and didn't concede a single goal?
Alexikokopops Posted 8 June 2006 Posted 8 June 2006 Arsenal fans love him though, dont ask me why. He was an integral part of the team that got them to the Champion's League final? He saved a last minute penalty in the semi-final? I think I might love Leicester's goaly if he did half the stuff Lehman did for Arsenal this season.

I would be embarrassed if Lehmann was our keeper, prancing around like a woman. Lehmann did not keep those clean sheets all by himself, the defence did have something to do with it. Also he got lucky on a penalty, saving a penalty doesnt make you a good goalkeeper.
Ultra Posted 8 June 2006 Posted 8 June 2006 Lehmann's playing mind games, in an attempt to deflect attention from the fact the German team of which he is a part is the weakest in years. Don't fall for them, folks...

He wasn't wholey responsable, but he played a big part. Did you not see some of the saves he made, like that against Raul? And are you honestly saying if Leicester were in the Champion's League semi and our keeper saved a penalty in the 90th minute you wouldn't love him? I'm not saying he's a fantastic keeper, that was never the point, my point is that it's pretty obvious why the Arsenal fans love him, which you obviously don't get, hence: Arsenal fans love him though, dont ask me why.
The Reverend Posted 8 June 2006 Posted 8 June 2006 Yeah, Lehmenn is a good keeper but when you play in England for an English team with English player...... an English player, sorry, you would expect a little bit more respect really. Surely he has more interesting things to say than comment on an English team far superior to its German rival?
