Ricey Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Should be a good game this, every WC has it's shock and this could be it. I watched World Cup Stories last night about Italy so it would be interesting to see what Italy we see at this years WC.
nhfox Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Maybe Buffon put some money on Ghana... I'm hoping for a draw or Ghana win.
Ricey Posted 12 June 2006 Author Posted 12 June 2006 What a game so far! Both teams determined to attack. Ghana are p[laying well but their finishing has been poor, Italy just taken the lead with a scorcher from Pirlo! Don't you just love the World cUP.
davieG Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 A purler from Pirlo, cracking game, no messing about let's score some goals seems to be the aim, even though we've only had one.
shen Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Amazing to see how African teams have sliced up two of the world's best defenses effortlessly! Too bad that Ghana's finishing has been woeful so far. Toni looks a class act, and that heel volley from Nesta to avoid the counter-attack was simply world class...
nhfox Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 A wonderful game so far -- Luca Toni's volley was outstanding and was unlucky to hit the crossbar. Ghana does look a bit vulnerable to crosses.
samingram_uk Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 wot a dive, it does look bad, but the screaming and rolling round. please.
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 2-0 now. Same guy who got stretchered off, rolling in agony..
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Kuffour's hack on that Iquainto (spelling) was piss funny, the best moment of the World Cup so far and he didn't even get booked!!!
shen Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Same guy who got stretchered off, rolling in agony.. He did catch him very badly. Seeing the replay of it, I was well surprised he got onto the pitch again. I don't think you could accuse Iaquinta of diving here unless you've got too big a grudge against Italians. How Kuffour escaped a booking, let alone a sending off, is a mystery. Offside or not, it was a reckless challenge. Kuffour's hack on that Iquainto (spelling) was piss funny, the best moment of the World Cup so far and he didn't even get booked!!! What about that triple defensive mistake by Iran that gave Mexico a 2-1 lead? Keeper miskicks it, it falls to a defender who makes a woeful touch on the ball letting a Mexican in, before the keeper slips when attempting to save the shot Or Van der Sar needing treatment for cramps! Twice!!!

Wils Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Ghana let me down yesterday!!! They didnt look too bad though, bring on the next game
