Guest Gist Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 I think he would be good back up behind Hammond and O'grady
Stevosevic Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 he is still better than Hammond, who is the worst player ever in a leicester shirt.
Jay Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 he is still better than Hammond, who is the worst player ever in a leicester shirt. you are obviously pretty young then if you think that he is the worst player in a Leicester shirt EVER!!!
Alexikokopops Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 Tell him every match is an FA Cup tie against a Premiership team, he'll play ok then.

Coxy Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 Might as well keep him if we can afford to (Kelly wwill cut his wages alot so we will be able to) pretty good as a 5 mins sub
Jay Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 Might as well keep him if we can afford to (Kelly wwill cut his wages alot so we will be able to) pretty good as a 5 mins sub you can't cut someone wages when they are under contract!! unless it was written in his contract but as we are in the same league that's not going to be an option
Head Honcho Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 It's all down to economics at the end of the day. We can't afford a new striker, so unless we can get someone to take him off our hands and we can then get someone in on a free, he's here to stay. ..............and let's be honest there aren't many decent strikers out there being given away!
theboywillmott Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 To be fair, we haven't got the biggest squad as it is and I think he will be a fairly ok squad player for us next season if RK can gee him up a bit so in a way it maybe a good idea to keep him.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 We do not need MDV, we have the first choice in Hume and Fryatt with O'Grady and Hammond as quite capable deputies. Also MDV is one of the highest earners at the club!

Also MDV is one of the highest earners at the club! Comparing MDV with Hammond and O'Grady is pointless as they are diferent types of player. MDV is all we have as a tall target man which can be useful against some teams. Trouble is, he is not a very good one!
wirralsimon Posted 27 June 2006 Posted 27 June 2006 I am sure RK wants to get rid but, as others have said, he may not have the option. If he stays there is no point in slagging him off, booing him or running his confidence down even further. I suspect that FK would use him to bring on for the last 10-15 mins of games to get stuck in and cause a bit of havoc for other players to take advantage of. Simon
