If he was any kind of racist he wouldn't of given black players the chances they got under him. Just because someone uses the N or P word doesn't make them a racist!! Just as me calling somone fat or old doesn't make me a fattest or an agest. The problem in this country is people are so quick to be PC, does my head in. Political correctness is so one sided it makes me sick! You hear of councils banning santas or the word christmas so that we don't offend people of other faiths. Well how about banning diwali celebrations just in case it offends christians and jews! You have films like soul plane where they go around calling white people honkys!! What if film studio made a film called white plane, and everyone went around calling blacks n's?? There would be hell to pay. Surely being PC should work both ways! Rant over as this is the football section!! <_<

You can't compare political correctness to words like N and P - there is a world of difference. Anybody who even uses those words is a racist - why would they use it if they weren't? Good riddance to Big Ron - the guy was crap at his job and doesn't deserve to be on TV after what he said.

Every decade it's another word that is a shush-word for either African, American, Asians or even Europeans... Negros was a big no-no, Nigger is deemed racist, yet they call eachother nigger between themselves. No, because of 'political correctness' the term African-American was used in the US, which is far out IMO... I find that term more dubious than the other two! And in the end I really wonder who makes a fuss about it, 'cause speaking to Arabs here, they don't really care if you call them names, as long as it isnt with an aggressive or provocative undertone. Too many people are too uptight about this issue IMO and they should really take a look at the broader picture instead of just choosing the opinion of the media's who (Again!) are the ones looking for controversy.
