I think they are more than adequate for our league - to get someone 20% better than Hendo or Douglas would be right out of our price range. MONreborn Posted 16 July 2006 Share Posted 16 July 2006 Let's be serious, we have been spoilt with the quality of our past goal keppers: Stuart Taylor, Ian Walker, Tim Flowers, Peggy, Keller and the obvious Peter Shilton and Gordan Banks (When we had both at the same time ) Therefore we need to take a reality check, Rab Douglas and Paul Henderson are very good keepers considering the league and position we are currently in. We are lucky to have both, and not be stuck with the likes of Kevin Pressman and Simon Royce as back up. If we go out and buy a new goalkeeper that would be an insult to both and also the emerging Conrad Logan as well as the whole team, who must realise that the left hand side needs to be improved with a player who can adjust to fit in at left back as well as left wing.
