lookwhaticando Posted 29 July 2006 Posted 29 July 2006 In the spirit of the recent 'your first...' topics popping up, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I've gone with broken heart to counter-act the joyous topic created by Knighton Matt: your first kiss So, your first broken heart, what caused it? Stephanie dumped me for another lad. Her reason was something about not paying her enough attention or something. Can't quite remember. I wasn't particularly bothered about it until I found out who it was she picked over me, that was a blow. That was a crushing blow. Nothing a few games of footy wouldn't fix, tho :pinch:
Tomassi Posted 29 July 2006 Posted 29 July 2006 Hmm.. i dumped my first girlfriend after 5 months because i was bored, that was the same for the next 2 girlfriends, then i got dumped after 2 weeks for another lad by this other girl from peterborough and then i met mine who ive been with for 16 months. so i spose ive not really been heartbroken but heartbrokee
Daggers Posted 29 July 2006 Posted 29 July 2006 Loretta took me on the rollercoaster of love, from the high of meeting on the Wicksteed Park train to the low of being dumped on her staircase seven days later. If she had asked me to let her ride the train for free, to obtain stolen tickets to allow her to go on the go-karts or buy a special pre-melted Wicksteed Park ice-cream from the kiosk I'd have done so. Smiling. I never understood why she dumped me, but smarting from my first scary kiss a mere three years previously I was still non-too fond of displays of physical intimacy. I guess, judging by her almost immediate pregnancy, she was after more affection than a young Disco Bob was prepared to give out. I think that telling me she was going into hospital because she had a brain tumour was over-egging the pudding somewhat. Whatever happened to 'It's not you, it's me!' or 'I consider you to be more like a brother to me'? This reason was only one step down from telling me her entire family had died in an horrific accident and she was too emotionally wrecked to carry on with a relationship. Within a couple of weeks, her place was filled by Heather. A Venus, who remains to this day oblivious to my existence.

Knighton Matt Posted 29 July 2006 Posted 29 July 2006 I once met this girl on holiday when I was about 15. Unfortunately she was from Newcastle (Nothing against the Geordie people but obviously geographically a fair distance from Leicester). Anyway really enjoyed spending time with her and really feel for her in the kinda way you do when you're 15! When I got home and realised I wasn't going to see her every day it felt like the bottom had dropped out my world. I spent countless hours that summer holiday just gazing out the window... Anyway I eventually got over it but never forgot that girl or her name and how she'd had this impact on me. Ironically when I went to Uni in Newcastle I was so tempted to meet her to see how she'd turned out but knew it was an awful idea because: a) What's in the past should remain there b) She might well have called the police thinking I was some kind of stalker! Anyway oddly enough I saw said girl on Friends Reunited the other day and she's now married and living in Canada expecting her first kid. Isn't life a funny but wonderful thing?!
