Nationwider Posted 29 July 2006 Posted 29 July 2006 Is it ever acceptable to throw petrol over the fence and set your neighbours alight? Discuss.

macbeth Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 my neighbours dog was always barking in their garden; so one day i put the dog in my garden and let it bark all day just to let them see what it was like......
stez Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 Is it ever acceptable to throw petrol over the fence and set your neighbours alight? Discuss. we had some noisey neighbours when we lived in leicester, **** annoying, and i was tempted several times to trow petrol of the work-shy bint. it actually started to get me down quite a bit in the end, do you own your house? if not and if you rent (private or off the council) if you don't you could contact the council re. noisey neighbours without having to explain the problem when you come to sell your house, like i had to <_< but if you do own your place and plan on sticking around it might be worth a go anyway?

The abmormally good weather (for the north-east) has brought them out the back in the evenings quite a lot. I've got no problem with kids etc, or people sitting out in their gardens in the evening. Its just that it goes on well after midnight some nights, usually singing, music and talking/shouting at each other until 1/2am. The blazing row at 6am this morning was great. <_< Fortunately, we're hopefully moving in a month or two. In the meantime its just leading to sleep deprivation.

Guest Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 What about neighbours who think that your drive is for their use and convenience?
stez Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 What about neighbours who think that your drive is for their use and convenience? one of them.
davieG Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 What about neighbours who think that your drive is for their use and convenience? Now that's not very nice at all using your drive as a toilet.

DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 30 July 2006 Posted 30 July 2006 Is it ever acceptable to throw petrol over the fence and set your neighbours alight? Discuss. Probably a bit excessive... I prefer taking a dump on their car windscreen - you and your mates can have some serious laughs while they think it's disgusting and completely unacceptable!
Daggers Posted 31 July 2006 Posted 31 July 2006 I stuck Teenage Fanclub's 'The King' on repeat, cranked the volume to full, placed the speakers facing the wall and buggered off into town for a long night out on the booze. This was for constantly doing power-tooled DIY at 7 in the morning every Saturday and Sunday, throughout every weekend, and having the audacity to call the police to a party we had (that they were invited to) three times before 11 o'clock. It was a long time ago. I wouldn't dream of doing something so horrible now, which is why I find your fence burning idea to be an ideal manner of dealing with it. A garden candle related accident no less.

Alexikokopops Posted 31 July 2006 Posted 31 July 2006 I heard an advert on the radio telling you what you can do if you have noisy neightbours, maybe Lincs FM heard of your anguish Nationwider. Can't remember the website though
Daggers Posted 31 July 2006 Posted 31 July 2006 You sound like my ideal neighbour - between the hours of 9am-11pm anyway. Well you can forget that idea right away, your demands for tea settings are too lofty and you have exhibited a likelihood to deal with any potential disagreements by igniting my fence. I shall be looking for someone else to live near ~ good day to you sir!
Nationwider Posted 31 July 2006 Author Posted 31 July 2006 *Pretends not to have read the previous post* *Puts petrol can back in cupboard* *Eats cucumber sandwich*
Guest Posted 1 August 2006 Posted 1 August 2006 Cucumber sandwichs have the pretence of decorum and finesse, but are in fact food of Beelzebub himself. He invented them one fine afternoon back in 1814.

I think that whole period for him was a bad one, and blame it on Phil Collins.

Knighton Matt Posted 1 August 2006 Posted 1 August 2006 I'd just go for the 'Day Today' approach and release a tiger in through their front door.
