Another problem is that you'll need a HD TV to even make it semi-worthwhile. So if you don't own one add another £1500 to the cost of the console...

Good HD TV = £1500+

PS3 = £425

2 games = £100 - 120

Extra controller = £40

Phew... seems expensive to me
