I hardly ever re-watch movies that are out in theatres.

But Project Hail Mary is/was absolutely worth it.

Glad it's still out and people are still going to see it, 3 months later. Great film, brilliant cast and stunning cinematography.

Where I'm at right now, they're showing pretty much all Tarantino movies, plus Il Gattopardo, True Lies, The Warriors, The Deer Hunter or Grave of the Fireflies, among others.

Spoilt for choices.

Brilliant that there's so many rereleases out. I've seen Akira and Close Encounters so far this year. Highlander was out but missed it. Lord of the Rings were out again too. The Dark Knight's out now, Interstellar's out next month, as is Hereditary, Moonlight, Gravity, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY.

I don't remember there being this many rereleased before COVID but I'm glad there are now. SO many films I've avoided seeing until I could watch it on a big screen have been ticked off recently.

BTW this is the link for the Showcase Flashback page listing all those screenings, for those close by to town:

Also, the Phoenix this month are screening Boogie Nights, The Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind, Baz Lurman's Romeo and Juliet, Call Me By Your Name, Legally Blonde, Robocop, Some Like It Hot, Cinema Paradiso, Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight, and To Catch A Thief. They're also doing a Coen Brothers season over the summer and a Cornetto Trilogy.

Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut.

Sublime.

Bit woke but a great film. Love the Runciman trilogy of books on the crusades which heavily influenced the film. And Eva Green obviously...

From the director who gave us some of the worst films ever, this one could be something noteworthy:

Yes, it's an Uwe Boll movie.

Woke for its time but compared to The Odyssey not at all

Yeah it's all relative. The post 9/11 why can't we all get along stuff is a bit obvious but still a great film

Oh yeah 100%. Some slightly inaccurate portrayals but on its own it’s an outstanding film. Huge difference between the normal cut and directors though.

Really enjoyed Backrooms.

I was completely unaware of the backstory and/or lore.

Could've even had more shock moments for my liking. Still, very well done. I suppose there'll be a sequel.

Got recommended to watch Remarkably Bright Creatures by my mum.

Enjoyed it, but my mum didn't like me pointing out that it was essentially the same plot as the original Friday the 13th film but without the murders. Hoping for a sequel.
