Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 My five-a-side football team lost 11-0 last night and were absolutely shocking. Our record now reads P3 W0 D0 L3 F3 A29 Pts 0 I've got some sort of virus type thing but we only had five players so I had to play. Could barely run. Embarrassing in the extreme.
Daggers Posted 7 September 2006 Author Posted 7 September 2006 Our record now reads P3 W0 D0 L3 F3 A29 Pts 0 I empathise, focus on the positive ~ those three goals
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 I empathise, focus on the positive ~ those three goals  I actually did us a disservice, we've scored FOUR!
Thracian Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Cannot think of any humiliating sporting events ... I associate sport with fun, not humiliation (at least ... so far so good ) What with holidays in such a lovely country it's a truly idyllic world you inhabit.
Head Honcho Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 I'm torn as to which is the more embarrassing You gotta keep them happy!
Head Honcho Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 We wore pants for PE class. Pants! It was justified because it speeded up getting back to class...it's only in later life I decided there may have been other reasons... John Duggan the ex Tigers player was my PE teacher and he made me play games in my shreddies We were making a stand at the Schools(Lancaster Boys) Anti-Football and Pro-Rugby policy. Half the class agreed we should leave our kit at home-guess who was the only mug that did?
Alexikokopops Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 When I was at school (junior school) if you forgot ur kit, you had to wear pants. Doubt you could get away with it now. Yeah, I Primary School we had to do that too. Word.
hairy Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 My wife once threw the discus over the surrounding safety netting and cracked the head open of the then county javalin thrower. Not funny

Unit Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 ' date='Sep 6 2006, 11:32 PM' post='391408']I dislocated my knee playing Hockey for my Uni's Mixed (read: rubbish at Hockey but with fitties) Hockey Team No wait, let me rephrase that. After coming off with the whole rolling subs we had I dislocated my knee climbing a short slope and clutching a 2-litre bottle of Amberdown cider. Why was I climbing this slope? To go for a piss. Anyone else dislocated their knee while heading for a piss? yes but not sportily, At a party I stood on a wall and saw how high I could piss, I then fell (into my own piss) and pretty much broke my knee, I couldn't walk on it for about 3 months
Alexikokopops Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 yes but not sportily, At a party I stood on a wall and saw how high I could piss, I then fell (into my own piss) and pretty much broke my knee, I couldn't walk on it for about 3 months That's pretty impressive, I approve. I think it's the falling in your own piss bit that does it for me. Anyone can fall off a wall, but into your own piss? Bravo good sir, bravo.
Shum Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Catching my knob in my flies after a PE lesson! PAINFUL!
Tommeh Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Probably a skipping race for sports day which I did for a laugh. Which I was winning until about 20 metres to go when a tripped up and finished 8th. :pinch:

The worst thing about that was the Person that did it just thought it was funny :pinch: Another time the same person hit the ball and it was Chest high, he miss that time as i saw it coming and stepped back and hit it back at him, and it stayed at the same height going back at him
