I have been moaning about Blake and I know alot of other fans have aswell but whats the difference? Connollys not scoring so if Blake doesn't score today so what? I bet after todays game if Blake doesn't score he will get slagged off, but people are only just in recent game slagging Connolly off. Please give Blake a chance, You did with Connolly - Some fans still are giving Connolly a chance!

He works hard to get the ball. And he always hits the post. Blake cant run, he cant get the ball in between the two corner flags when he shoots. And he cant even get in to the wales team 45749[/snapback] Yes that's a very accurate statement indeed Fair enough criticise Blake for his lack of effort and poor hold up play, but I haven't seen him miss as many chances as Connolly has this season.

Anish Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 He wasn't brilliant, but he wasn't as bad as you guys are making out. He did well to get onto Gillespie's cross and hit the post, and he turned his defender twice in the area in the 2nd half. Scowy was by far our worst player - simply awful.

After watching that I would like to take back what I said about Blake, and say Connolly is much better! -I know I am a hypocryte saying everyone would be slagging Blake off after the match, but he is just pethetic! And I gave him a chance...Well he should be realeased by the club...Lets hope Nuneaton, Hinckley or somone will buy him - He might just be able to resurect his career at them clubs, but he would be lucky!
