The People's Hero Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Would make sense for him to be available for transfer. We're hardly likely to let Logan go, whilst Douglas is contracted for another year. Having said that, why would anyone pay £4million for Kilgallon?
Steven Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Having said that, why would anyone pay £4million for Kilgallon? If he is £4million then Paddy K must be about £8million.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Would be a massive vote of confidence and faith in Logan if we let Henderson go before Logan has played a significant number of games for the first team.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 .....We can see how it goes, January is a long way off, we should know a bit more about Conrad's consistencey and Rab's fitness by then.

Aye that seems about right. If Logan can keep up his current form, Hendo will find it near impossible to remove him from the team, and so a move may well be on the cards for him. I'm not sure who I'd rather keep in the side out of Henderson and Douglas though
dynamite foxes Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Seems stupid though to have the highest paid player as 3rd choice keeper.
bigneville Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Seems stupid though to have the highest paid player as 3rd choice keeper. Would you rather play him then? And leave the 2 better goalkeepers out of the team because they arent paid as much?
Janx Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 tell Rab to freddy orange and get in another 3rd choice, but I reckon leep hendo and conrad as first two.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Seems stupid though to have the highest paid player as 3rd choice keeper. He'd be first on my list to get rid of, I think he's a better overall keeper than Hendo but not by much and he's is bound to be taking home a fair bit of cash each week for doing FA. If Logan is 1st choice and Rab is 2nd it wont be long before Conrad starts wondering why his deputy is on double his salary. However, There is no interest in him and he isn't out of contract till 08 so if we can get rid of Hendo after a careful tisk assesment, then do it.
dynamite foxes Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 no, I would play Conrad too, but it is just one of Leveins stupid ideas giving a 33 year old 3 years
Thracian Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 Aye that seems about right. I'm not sure who I'd rather keep in the side out of Henderson and Douglas though Someone else mentioned in a thread about Douglas a couple of weeks back that it'll likely be money that'll decide. RAB won't get the sort of money anywhere else that he's getting here so he can just sit tight and enjoy it whereas Henderson won't be on so much and will probably pick up a new club quite easily.
Stevosevic Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 let him go, hes terrible. his kicking is worse than a youth footballer. i dont understand how a professional footballer cant even kick a football.

Can't blame Rab for that, he's at the end of his career and is sitting pretty on a nice amount of money every week for such an old bloke that he'd be crackers to leave it behind, playing or not. Hendo on the other hand could well get paid a little more from another club, and so would have incentive to leave. If a club comes in with a respectable offer for him and we accept, I reckon he could well be going, as he'd be in with more chance of getting first team football and a fatter pay-packet every week. Doesn't help me to decide who I'd rather keep though. Although from the new Football Manager game (which may well have no idea what it's going on about) I'd say Rab is a better guy to keep around than Henderson

What about not being able to control a ball?? Or even run for a whole 90 minutes?? 'Cos I reckon that half of our squad are incapable of these very basic things
