Taylor - 6 (learn to kick the ball to OUR players - his kicking was awful)

Stearman - 7.5

Dublin - 6

Dabizas 6

Stewart - 6

Gillespie - 8*

Nalis 5.5

Gudjonsson - 5.5

Gemmill - 4.5 (for ****s sake shoot when you are on the edge of the area. The number of times he played a pointless pass sideways when he should have shot was unforgiveable. It was so bad that it overshadowed anything decent he may have done in the game)

Scowy - 3 (disgraceful, pathetic, woeful performance. No pace, no passion, no commitment - didn't win a header all day and he control was poor. He was never in the right place at the right time)

Blake - 6 (showed some pace and power, unlucky with the header and turned his defender a couple of times. Much better than Scowy)

Subs:

Williams - 5

Morris - 5

Taylor 6 - poor kicking, looked nervous maybe because he had to donkeys in front of hin

Stearman 7 - excellent mature performance made Dublin & Dabizas look like novices

Stewart 7 - again good performance

Dabizas 4 - I'd be happy if he never wore the Blue of LCFC again

Dublin 4 - Ditto. Keown, Stearman, Heath and Elliott should be the preferred central defenders

Gillespie 8 -Excellent game, gave his all going forward and tackling back. MOM

Gemmill 5 -average

Nalis 5 - average

Gudjonsson 5 - average

Scowcroft 4 - Very poor by his normal standards

Blake 5 - average

Subs:

Williams 5 - average

Morris 5 -average

Craig - Thought the subs were a poor choice it was obvious the front 2 were never going to score the both should have been replaced.

Only 3 players really earnt their wages today Stearman, Stewart and Gillespie

Posted

Taylor 6, woeful kicking. Not upto Walker standard, no where near.

Stearman 8, played excellent in the first half, tired in the second. Great tackles.

Stewart 7, undeserved abuse from the crowd.

Dabizas 4, a clown.

Dublin 4, ditto.

Gillespie 8.5, Yet another excellent display.

Gemmill 4, useless, pointless.

Nalis , 4 Woeful passing, and tackling.

Gudjonsson 4.5, tried but nothing came off.

Scowcroft 4 is he a striker

Blake 5.5 not enough service. Unlucky

Subs:

Williams 6 Didnt influence the game much, but made 1 or 2 decent passes.

Morris [/b]5 Did nothing, lightweight still.

Posted

Taylor 6 - needed to come out more and kicking was poor

Stearman 9 - class act, well done lad!!!

Stewart 7

Dabizas 6 (edited from 7, wrong key :S )

Dublin 6 (ditto to above)

Gillespie 6

Gemmill 4 - FFS SHOOT!!!!

Nalis 5

Gudjonsson 5

Scowcroft 3 - poor in the air, bad positioning, bad control (to be fair this is by his standards as its usually a spot on control) and his reading of the game was woeful, chose wrong way from blakes headers every time

Blake 6 - did his fair share, won good amount int he air

Subs:

Williams 5

Morris 5

both subs had no chance of an impact

You've all got to be having a laugh wih Gillespie, he was shite yet again, MOM my arse!

Taylor 7 - I like him, but even I have to admit his kicking was sub-standard today! Other than that though his goalkeeping was decent

Stearman 8.5 - Looked committed to the cause, fantastic last ditch challenge to save Dubln's arse!

Stewart 8 - Looked (as well as the above 2) to be one of the only players wanting to play for the team!

Dabizas 4 - Absolutely abysmal, Levein sort it out, Heath could piss on him for his running ability!

Dublin 5.5 - Very Average partner to Dabizas, Keown is desperately needed to add some well needed discipline!

Gillespie 6 - Another player who gave an average performance, man of the match is a joke, he showed no signs of that to me today

Gemmill 5 - This guy seemed to be playing the Muzzy Izzet role minus any ability, and I agree with the ffs shoot thing, what the hell he was doing passing all the freeking time it's crazy!

Nalis 6 - Floated about, not a major influence!

Gudjonsson 4.5 - Underpar performance from this guy, his substitution was fully justified

Scowcroft 3 - A very substandard performance today, I was dissapointed, perhaps Connolly does have an influence after all!

Blake 4 - He's crap and I'll stick by that, does not deserve a starting place, he's done fooking amazing to land himself a contract here, Adams what were U thinking mate!

Subs:

Williams 5.5 - Didn't embarrass himself like others on the field, but neither was he on the field long enough to make an impact, should have started IMO!

Morris 5 - Wrong sub IMO form CL, should have brought on Tiatto for Gemmill there, at least we could have shown some passion and perhaps pushed on for a draw!

Can't say I agree totally with either of you, Nalis deaerved more than 2 after all he was better than Dublin and I will take issue with Dabizas, in my opinion he is extremely overated, he got turned over several times today his passing was poor as usual, the only thing he showed improvement on today was he seems to have finally realised that pushing someone in the back with your chest is just as much a foul as doing it with your hands. Mind you he did look ever so slightly better than Dublin.

This is still a very, very poor side technically and football brain (?) wise.

Well we all see the game differently, and there were a number of us who thought he was MOTM. If Gillespie was shite what the hell were the others aruond him?

Opinions are everything

Definition of Shite = Dublin ;)

Definition of Crap = Dabizas ;)

Taylor 6 Came for a couple of crosses and looks a presence but distribution needs to be worked on.

Stearman 7 You can't really ask anymore from 17 year old making his debut out of position.

Dublin 5 Too many mistakes to ever feel secure but was good in the air.

Dabizas 6 He was more reasonable than usual but stil missed some vital headers, I don't see why we keep faith in him.

Stewart 6 Defended reaosnable but nothing he tried going forward actually seemed to work.

Gillespie 7 Helped Stearman through his debut and looked our best player going forward.

Nalis 3 Completely over run and made no impact on the match, his inconsistency is really starting to annoy me.

Gudjohnsson 2 I say this every week but you can't play central midfield if you don't have the ability to pass the ball. Gave the ball away every time he touched it for the first 20 mins. His shooting is funny because he has absaloutely no abaility so just tries to belt it and people actually like him for it.

Gemmill 4 No confidence in what he was doing and not prepared to make forward passes or actually shoot, I won't be too harsh though as he was playing badly out of position.

Blake 6 Gave his all and wanted to impress but he is not good enough if we are serious about moving forwards.

Scowcroft 3 The worst I have seen him play for a few years. Totally inept and strangely disinterested. No goals again despite playing up front.

**************SUBS****************

Morris 5 He doesn't look anything special and he made no impact today

Williams 5 Alsdo over ran and outplayed by the Reading midfield, I would still like to see him start against the trees.

Taylor 7 Made a fantastic save from a second half freekick although his kicking was poor. Blameless on both goals.

Stearman 8 Brilliant first start for him. Best of an average bunch of performers.

Stewart 7.5 Second best today. Showed his attacking and defensive qualities. Lost his cool towards the end.

Dabizas 6 Another mediocre display. Solid up at Leeds but messed about with the ball too much once again.

Dublin 6 One of our best players at Leeds showed a lack of concentration on a couple of occasions. Poor decisons made at times and lacked an attacking threat that he'd shown in the last couple of matchs

Gillespie 7 Came out of the game with increased respect from me. Had to help a young Stearman out defensively and thus his attacking play was limited but still pushed up whenever possible.

Gemmill 5 One of many average players. Few bad passes and corners and lacked any kind of creativity.

Nalis 6 Not one of his better showings. Tried to support the attackers whenever possible but failed to do the easy things well.

Gudjonsson 5 Never seemed to get into the rhythm of play.

Scowcroft 5 Not near his best. Failed to link up with Blake at any stage.

Blake 5.5 Little better than usual and marginally better than Scowy.

Subs:

Williams 5 Tried to create things but had little time to do so.

Morris 5 No chance to impact the game. Beat a few players with his pace but his final ball was poor.

Exactly, bit unfair sayin same old shit, Nalis has been awsome this season for us.

Taylor 6 - Solid enough, kicking was woeful though at times though.

Stearman 7* - Excellent first half, not so good second half, but very encouraging overall. On that performance should keep his place, but no doubt that waster Makin will get back in.

Dublin 6 - Nowhere near as good as Leeds. Average performance at the back, did what was required of him.

Dabizas 6 - Ironically one of his better performances of the season. Made some timely interceptions, but he still makes far too many mistakes which puts us under pressure.

Stewart 7 - Another good performance - Decent going forward, made some excellent runs, but his general crossing isn't quite with it yet, although it is getting better.

Gillespie 6 - Largely anonymous for long periods of the game, but tried his best and got in a few good crosses. Linked up well with Stearman down the right at times.

Gudjonsson 3 - A woeful performance. Didn't contribute anything in midfield except for giving the ball away cheaply. Seems to have this obsession to twat most passes at his fellow team mates.

Nalis 3 - Pretty much the same as Joey. Awful in the centre, looked so off the pace, and made some shocking passes.

Gemmill 2 - Go away, you offer nothing apart from a tramp infested hairstyle. At least bloody have a shot when you're near their goal instead of playing poncy dinked through balls for the likes of the pace less duo Scowy and Blake to run on to.

Blake 2 - You can sod off too. Not a bad first half, but he's far too lazy – wasn’t even remotely interested when the ball wasn’t within 10 metres of him. I'm looking forward to the end of the season when we get rid of wasters like him.

Scowcroft 3 - Awful performance today, which is out of character for him. He usually tries hard, but he was so off the pace and didn't contribute anything.

Subs:

Williams 4 - Didn't do much, not surprised really given that he's playing with a bunch of wasters.

Morris 4 - Tried hard, but not enough time to make an impression.

Well I was stupid enough to buy my Forest ticket before yesterday's game - I hope I get better value for my £40, but I'm not overly optimistic. :(

Taylor - 6.5 - Woeful kicking which obviously needs to be improved for him to become an all round good keeper. Made s few cracking saves though.

Stearman - 8 - Ooooo this lad can play :D Cracking performance, especially considering he's a 17 year old kid making his debut at home. Confident on the ball and seems to have good positional sense as well as a good tackle. Play him more :D

Dublin - 6 - Not too comanding, but he did well enough.

Dabizas - 6 - I thought he was better than normal, doesn't make it a great performance but he made some good tackles and blocks. But Keown for Forest for one of these two please.

Stewart - 7 - He has improved so much since CL has come in, looked to get forward when possible and also did some good defensive work. Glen Little didn't get much of a chance to do anything, credit to Jordan :o

Gillespie - 6 - Average again really, tried to get at them at times without great success. Is working a lot harder which is good to see :)

Gudjonsson - 5 - Tries to battle away but the type of game he tries to play doesn/t seem to agree with his height, leading to him getting knocked about a fair bit.

Nalis - 5 - Tried to keep things ticking over with his passing as usual, but had an off day. Made some bad passes that could have led to Reading chances.

Gemmill - 4 - Too slow, only passes it 10 yards at the most and is scared to shoot. The amount of times he had the ball 25 yards out with space for a shot and instead he just tried a little dink ball through. Tiatto's back now though! :D

Blake - 4 - Poo

Scowcroft - 4 - Was also poo.

Subs:

Williams - 6 Should have come on at HT to see if h could force the game our way more. Did ok when he came on.

Morris - 5 Not really enough time, but he didn't do anything good when he had the chance.

In conclusion I think we missed Connolly :o Despite his lack of goals, we had been playing well and winning with him in the team. He has so much more class about him than the rest of our team and his ability to bring other players into the game is very important for us.
