Well in the first season I finished top, then in the second season I finished 6th in prem, despite being 3rd up until the 30th game.

Shouldn't really need to be a bigger team.

That does it tommorrow im starting it up as QPR and $500m in the bank.

Who to buy ...

I generally never use the editor unless im gonna start a game with the current city team - i.e. edit all the new payers in, rid myself of the crap, but the idea of sprucing up a team in order to conquer the game first came to me after Roman Bram took over Chelsea and i edited Lesta on Champ Man 97/98 and loved it so i can see where LD3's coming from as it does make for an enjoyable game but can get tiresome after you've won everything for 2 seasons or so.

Sappleton for comedy purposes. I did.

I always do,

Carried on with my Birmingham game from a few months back.

Won the Championship and now im in the Prem.

Quite strange with the Birmingham-Leicester connection

I have Matty Fryatt, Stephen Clemence, DJ Campbell, three current Leicester players. Released N Gotty to Leicester in the summer, a current Leicester player. I've got Danny Murphy on loan, a future Leicester player if you believe the papers.

Also got Mido who Birmingham have been linked with..

Lewis Price, Kirk Broadfoot, Julian Gray i have all brought for my leicester game and have been outstanding think they cost 1.5 mill between them!

Price good keeper needs 1 year in championship then ready for the prem

Broadfoot, excellent buy in the championship good for a lower prem team!

Gray cracking AML always performs, and costs about 500k!

anyone else ever tried these?

or found any decent buys for under 1 million?

when i try and give a team 500 million on the editor it always comes up as 25 million in the game i dont know how to do it :(

Broadfoot is especially good alongside Andrew Davies on loan from Boro.

Other good buys for under a mil - Chris Killen, Alan Gow, Tim Krul, Dominic Shimmin, Ricky Sappleton, Boaz Myhill

and Kaebi is about 1.5m

Good loans - Andrew Davies, Kaebi (hoping to buy), Jonas Elmer, Matt Derbyshire, James Perch (hoping to buy), Tim Krul (trn)

Doing well in the league so far my current formation below however got some injuries - Hume returning aswell as Killen

Also got me some Claridge and Sheringham action so i can turn em into coaches when there contracts run out in June.

Yeh players from Scotland are generally good for the Championship. Rocco Quinn, Steven Naismith, Robertson, Broadfoot, Cameron etc etc, Id just look in the Scotland u21 and u19 teams. In fact i get most of my players from countries under 21s.

Download a program called Football Manager Modifier (or simply FMM), you can then change anything in the middle of the game including giving yourself up to 2 billion transfer dosh etc, all without having to leave the game. When you use the normal editor, it doesnt let you but in loads of dosh because they limit it to try and make it less unrealistic.

I can't seem to find a modifier to work with patch 7.0.2 :dunno:

Edit : Problem solved.

S Kelly ----- R Jadhi ------------ M Upson ----- M Sadler

D Johnson** - D Murphy* ------- S Clemence - G McSheffery

---------------- Mido ------------M Fryatt

Names in;

Bold and Italic = Where I need to improve

Italic = I probably need to improve, but not desperatly.

** = I'd like to keep in the first team but move to a difference position (in Johnson's case, move to CM)

So could anybody name a few young, British players who could fit these positions?
