As I'm sure MON and Agbonlahor will seek to prove next week!

FNQ Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 Big bonus. And a headache for RK when the choice has to be made. Why not just push Kisnorbo forward into a defensive midfield role.

Bert Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 The thing i was worried about most was his pace, but it isn't a factor as his positional side of the game is absolutly immense.

I agree there cobbo he has all the right attributes to be the next walshy. and has floored macca! None of our CB's are particularly quick, they all make up for it in other departments though. McAuley's positioning is great and his aerial ability is looking good so far. And McCarthy and Kisnorbo are so clearly committed to the cause it's unreal. I think we have 3 class CB's. newms Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 funny I havent seen barton fox in a while describing McAuley as a league 2 centre back, hmm
lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Author Share Posted 18 October 2006 I know why he's such a class CB at the minute. It's all because: he is a lovely size It might also be because, again quoting RK, "He is an intelligent player and I don't think things phase him - he is very level-headed."
