Daggers Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 Not all of them, three of them...three of them where the ball was thrown in and went out of play without connecting with a player. Once, I give you as a freak throw...but three ****ing times? Shocking!

Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 I thought it was quite shocking Micheal Durberry couldn't be arsed to walk 5 yards to pick the ball up for a Stoke throw in near the kop and started moaning about the ball boy, nob. breaker7 Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 It was Nisse wasnt it? Very silly I was going to post after the Villa match that generally our throw ins are pap ! Not to single him out as I think it is more people not moving than his throws being cr*p but it always seem to be Nisse too. Needs some "hard work on the training pitch" methinks
davieG Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 I can't remember the last time we use to take regular advantage of our throw ins, probably when Heskey was in the team.
Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 I've no idea why the receivers don't give themselves more space and the taker doesn't simply through the ball fairly hard to feet. These high throws and attempted flick ons always favour defenders.
gatesheadfox Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 If it's that cold again, I'm taking spirits with me. was it that cold last night? i had a match and thought the weather was quite reasonable for October, it bit colder down the walkers then? the amount of foul throws (mostly ignored by the ref) and shocking throw ins is increasing i think in modern football, makes for amusing viewing
