bold_fox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Looks like he'll be leaving in Jan, Think he'd be a very good addition to our team if we could get hold of him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nal/6103588.stm If the takeover does go though, im sure that the club will become more attractive to better players ? ? What do you think ?
Master Fox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Not good enough. yeah who needs him when we've got Elvis.......
Durnerz Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 The two goals he scored the other week were his first 2 for about a year weren't they? A big fat NO
bold_fox Posted 1 November 2006 Author Posted 1 November 2006 Agreed. Get real !!! He's a lot better than anyone we've got at the minute !
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 yeah who needs him when we've got Elvis....... Is that the bench mark for a new Leicester City striker now? you have to be better than Elvis Hammond.
Master Fox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Is that the bench mark for a new Leicester City striker now? you have to be better than Elvis Hammond. I guess so? Or maybe not.
Janx Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 The two goals he scored the other week were his first 2 for about a year weren't they? A big fat NO he's only played in carling cup I think that might have an effect
mat_j101 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I bet Arsenal wud still charge bout 1 mil for him, and for that u could buy someone better from the league below whos really decent - leon constantine, lee trundle, maybe freddie eastwood if they go down. Those are much better options in my opinion
coale39 Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I want to stay in England and I want to stay in the Premiership Oh well...
eaststandtom Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 if he was called barry smith no-one would give a toss about him. he is crap
Thracian Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Is that the bench mark for a new Leicester City striker now? you have to be better than Elvis Hammond. I know what you're saying but it seems more than coincidence that his presence has coincided with a recently unprecedented eight-match unbeaten run. It'd please me more if the crowd tried to give him a lift and sang a song or two for him early on... because for whatever reasons we are a much more formidable proposition than we were at the beginning of the season. I don't believe Hammond gets much encouagement because basically fans want Fryatt back. But even last night, Fryatt doesn't look fit enough or sharp enough to be first choice.
gatesheadfox Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 if he was called barry smith no-one would give a toss about him. he is crap if he was called ryan smith people would........and he was crap
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Is that the bench mark for a new Leicester City striker now? you have to be better than Elvis Hammond. Where do I sign?
Mort Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 He might be a potential signing... but our biggest effort when it comes to buying/loaning/getting players has to be 1-2 attacking midfeilders (a playmaker and somone who can be stationed on the right). However either an experienced striker or a younger player with great potential could be a good adition and could help both Hume and Fryatt... Aliadiere could be such a player, but i wonder if WestHam might be interested in loaning our one of their strikers (esspeically once Ashdon is fit again) Harewood?
Maybes Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Get him in I say. Plenty of potential. Plus he cant be worse than O'Grady........
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Get him in I say. Plenty of potential. Plus he cant be worse than O'Grady........ Hallelujah! Have a gold star.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 Get him in I say. Plenty of potential. Plus he cant be worse than O'Grady........ Fantastic attitude, lets just sign any old mother hubbard because they can't be much worse than what we already have <_< Shouldn't we by trying to sign good players not ones that "Can't be any worse than what we already have"
Shroomjuice Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 I was at the Westbrom match last week. He looks usefull. Very quick and always looked a threat. Arsene Wenger must think highly off him as he is arsenals second longest serving player and he is only 20 odd. Be nice to get him on loan and see what he can do. I

eaststandtom Posted 1 November 2006 Posted 1 November 2006 if he was called ryan smith people would........and he was crap he wasnt crap though really. he was very skilful but, as we know, that dont make the complete package.
