Bedford Fox Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Now imo we need to bring in a goalscorer. the most likely way to do this is bringing one in on loan so WHO?

Bedford Fox Posted 18 December 2004 Author Posted 18 December 2004 how bout one of the pompey strikers they have 4 or 5 fighting for 2 places. i have also heard rumours of sir les
Anish Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 I think we could get one of Pompey's strikers - Kamara or Fuller will do!
Bedford Fox Posted 18 December 2004 Author Posted 18 December 2004 There are some good strikers at pompey not even playing. What bout todorov is he injured or just not playing if he is not injured he would be perfect!
Collymore Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Wasn't there talk of Bellion at the start of the season? not much chance of that now but surely one of the big clubs must have an up and coming striker who would be perfect at this level.
Oli Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 That skillful Dutch striker from Arsenal. Some first team experiance needed and looks like he needs toughening up, so I think we would be perfect. Quincy Owusu Abeyie, thats the guy we need.
Mark Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Anyone with pace and movement and can finish at least 1 in 5. That'll be an improvement considering the current lot we have up there.
dan_84 Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 What about Malcom Christie from Middlesbough? Not heard his name for ages.... is he injured? always thought he was a big threat with speed and skill. cant see him getting much of a look in at borough with the likes of viduka, hasslebaink, job, and nemeth.
Teeno Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Sinemma Pongolle That Arsenal lad Don't know who else.
Highland Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 I doubt Wenger will let one of his youngsters come and play for us and get lumps kicked out of him by the likes of Wise etc.I'd go for Rob Hulse at WBA,on the fringes of their side behind Earnshaw,Kanu,Horsfield.Proven goalscorer at this level with Crewe.
Scow Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 I like the idea of Malcolm Christie. I'm not sure if he's injured or not though. He's got plenty of pace, something we desperately require upfront. He's not a bad finisher either. I suggested in another thread one of Pompey's strikers, but had forgot about Todorov, who scored nearly 30 goals in this division last time out. Although again, we don't know if he's injured or not.

He's hoping to return in the new year, i wouldnt take the risk with him.
Cobbo Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 I absolutely hate Christie, although it would probably be a decent signing if he could perform as he was doing. Still, he's a ####. His 'Is that one' celebration really makes me just want to kick his arse
dan_84 Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 TRUNDLE!!!!! Good shout that man. scored a hatrick again today and when i saw him on Soccer AM a few months ago the lad is desperate for someone high up to give him a chance. possibly 1 of the most skillful players in the football league.
