Plymouth Match Thread

May be making a mistake in trusting Wikipedia, but it says the following:

"The club takes it's nickname from the vast number of people that left Plymouth for the New World. The club crest features the Mayflower, the Plymouth ship, which carried many of the original pilgrims."

why are Plymouth called the pilgrims?

Cos the Pilgrim Fathers supposedly set sail from there in the Mayflower for the New World. In fact they set sail from Harwich and only stopped at Plymouth en route cos another (or the oher) vessels in the group was unseaworthy, at least that's my understanding of the facts.

Having been pleased about Fryatt's return now they're moaning about Fryatt. Do they know what they want?. If he's not been in the game maybe it's the same problem Hammond had - no sodding service.

when will the manager see that a hoof ball to 2 short arses just won't work!
