Steven Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Paul Dickov is the subject of a bid from Birmingham <_<
Scow Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Paul Dickov is the subject of a bid from Birmingham <_< 48450 Bruce has been having a go at Blackburn recently for supposedly 'tapping' up Savage, so I think the bid is there to stir things up...
Samu Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Birmingham are just trying to create a Leicester City team what with Heskey, Izzet and Savage at the club. If they are that desperate for City players maybe we can offer them Blake or Gemmill
Anish Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 If I was Dickov I'd go to Brum, they are a better team.
Samu Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 I'd actually be really interested to see how Dickov and Heskey would get on up front. Ive always thought that Forsell and Heskey would have been good but its a shame that he's been injured. But dickov would work well with him i think
Mark Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 What is it with Birmingham and ex Leicester players? <_<

Guest Daniel Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 He's alot better than Heskey, Morrison and John. There all donkeys.
Cobbo Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 He's alot better than Heskey, Morrison and John. There all donkeys. 48522 No chance is he better than Heskey.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Easily. Heskeys terrible. No effort, no skill, no pace. What's he actually do? Bundles the odd one in?

Bundles the odd one in? 48533 Did you ever actually watch him play when he was here? As Steve Bruce has said, he is the best centre forward of his type in the Prem when he is fully fit.

Oli Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Heskey is easily better than Dickov. No doubt about that,
Guest Daniel Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Ok then, ill agree with everyone, aint allowed to say what i think. Liverpool released him because he is so good. Infact i think he could be the best player of his kind in the premiership when fully fit.

And we thought he was better than Dickov, the fact Liverpool sold him is irrelevant. Why did Man City let Dickov leave for £50,000?

Thought a football expert like yourself would know that.

Liverpool released him because they had Baros and Owen, with Cisse coming in the summer. I reckon it was more to do with Heskey wanting first team football, otherwise he wouldn't have left Liverpool.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 He couldn't get in the Liverpool excatly, because he didnt have the ability. No other reason. People jump down my throat because i say what i think, is there much point in me posting?

They had better strikers at their disposal, hence why he was allowed to go for such a small fee.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Get over it, stop whining. As for Heskey, I think he's a good player, him and Clinton Morrison are forming a good partnership, they played well together at the weekend.

And no one jumped down your throat, we have been saying that Heskey is a better player than Dickov and you have been saying the opposite. It's basically a debate on the ability of two footballers. Something you would generally find on a football forum.

And we're talking Liverpool here, not Blackburn Rovers who are struggling against relegation.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 He didn't get in the team because he didn't get on with the staff and there's no point having him in the squad for nothing.

Cobbo Posted 21 December 2004 Posted 21 December 2004 Goater and Wanchope were ahead of him for a start, Huckerby too... Then Bernarbia and Berkovic who could play upfront if required.
