Master Fox Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 was speaking to a friend and thats how he described the club at the moment..... is this way off the mark or not.... discuss. Not really I would say it's a pretty fair assessment at present.
ibbosuk Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 was speaking to a friend and thats how he described the club at the moment..... is this way off the mark or not.... discuss. if we dont get Mandaric then YES! we are in crisis.
Babylon Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 Jesus.... we are in the same position we have been for the last 3 season, we have shitty players like we have had for 3 season, we have a manager who isn't the best in the world like we have had for the last 3 seasons. Difference is we have lost a few games on the trot now. The crisis began 3 seasons ago.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 29 November 2006 Author Posted 29 November 2006 i am worried that MM may pull out..

ibbosuk Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 yeah but no but, whatever. nah, but you wouldnt have said that at the beginning of this season surely??? I am not remotely worried that Mandaric will pull out because of the teams position, I think he is RELISHING this challenge, its Portsmouth all over again to a T.
Wils Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 Bit sensationalist isn't it? Maybe a bit. But still we need to get our act together or our season will be just the same as last year.

Fear not, Uncle Milan is riding in, on the back of a white horse. He's going to perform such wizardry, he'd make that Gandalf bloke look like a right tosser in comparison. Or so some would have you think. ;) :D

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 29 November 2006 Author Posted 29 November 2006 Everythings going to be alright,MM is going to make us filthy rich and Elvis Hammond will hit world class form. I hope so, cos I really think that Elvis 'The Hitman' Hammond is the next Sammy Et'o.
Kilworthfox Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 I hope so, cos I really think that Elvis 'The Hitman' Hammond is the next Sammy Et'o. TAXI!
Wils Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 I hope so, cos I really think that Elvis 'The Hitman' Hammond is the next Sammy Et'o. Oh he is. He is just developing. :pinch:
Leonisco Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 i am worried that MM may pull out.. Course Milan will still come - Portsmouth were in way deeper shit than us when he took them over.

Lord Nibblington Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 We're not really a club in crisis. A club in crisis would be more akin to when we were facing the prospect of going out of existance. The words to describe our situation right now is we're a club who are shit. That is all.

On that basis MM = No relgation = No crisis No MM = Relegation = Crisis Because if we get relegated we could well end up in Administration again, we would get very short shift from the football authorities and could conceivable, with a 10 point deduction end up in Division 4 or not exist at all.

That's working on the assumption that we're definitely getting relegated if MM doesn't come in and splash the cash. Sure. We're rubbish. So are plenty of other teams. I wouldn't say that if MM doesn't come it's a cast ironed guarantee that we'll be playing in League One next season. Of course, we could be, but we could equally end the season in 21st. Who knows?
