Club in crisis.......

That's working on the assumption that we're definitely getting relegated if MM doesn't come in and splash the cash. Sure. We're rubbish. So are plenty of other teams. I wouldn't say that if MM doesn't come it's a cast ironed guarantee that we'll be playing in League One next season. Of course, we could be, but we could equally end the season in 21st. Who knows?

I wasn't intending to imply that it was definate just more likely without MM than with.

We are a club in crisis because we can't even afford loan players and I doubt they are the solution either. Next season, even in this league we will have less money than this, at the present rate without investment we will need to sell to survive. That means freebies replacing the likes of Stearman, Kisnorbo and probably Hume/Fryatt as I doubt we could afford the installments on them. We just cannot afford to default on any payments we owe, selling will be inevitable.

So I would say if the MM deal doesn't come off we are in crisis.

was speaking to a friend and thats how he described the club at the moment.....

is this way off the mark or not....

discuss.

Have you just returned from Mars or something?

....of course we're a club in crisis and have been for several years now. If we don't get the much needed injection of cash soon we will become not a club in crisis but a club in L2.

can you imagine what the club would be like in 6 months if MM was not coming?

We're not really a club in crisis. A club in crisis would be more akin to when we were facing the prospect of going out of existance.

The words to describe our situation right now is we're a club who are shit.

That is all.

I like to think of us as a club in transition.

We are very much in crisis, should MM not come through we are gone, finished, finito :thumbdown:

Course Milan will still come - Portsmouth were in way deeper shit than us when he took them over.

EXACTLY RIGHT!!!! Now you have to look at just what happened when he FIRST took over at Portsmouth, the moves he made, or did NOT make, then you will need to make the judgement on what he ment about "making mistakes" "and doing things differently" then you can come to conclusions.

Not really... some might even say 'crisis' is a nice way of putting it... we are doomed!

But then again 'doomed' might be a bit OTT

Venus must be in line with neptune and mars again.

;)

I was going to reply with something about Uranus but, it would have cheapened the thread.

Obviously not been to Mars  , judging by some of the replies on here it seems that no one can say for certain if it’s a crisis, a transition, the beginning or even the end.

Well if you go down you'll be in a worse situation than us.Thankfully we have coped financially but it would probably be the final straw for you!

Sadly you are right, but there are a fair few who don't want to hear although they know it to be true and even worse there are those that just don't believe it.

Yeah thanks for your opinion, Trollop!

If that did happen what does it say about the good people of Leicester and Leicestershire? Only give a toss when we're doing well and when we're shit their too embarrassed to admit their Leicester fans.

We're NOT in a crisis!

It's not the end of the world for us. Ok we're doing very poor at the moment in the league but there's still half the season to go and we're getting in a rich bloke to solve all our problems (we hope).

As the slogan goes, Keep the Faith!

Jesus.... we are in the same position we have been for the last 3 season, we have shitty players like we have had for 3 season, we have a manager who isn't the best in the world like we have had for the last 3 seasons.

Difference is we have lost a few games on the trot now. The crisis began 3 seasons ago.

Quite. And you can't have a 3-year crisis. More like depression with this mob.

I think a club is in crisis when it has no money, it is sliding down the league table, it's easy to play against because it's tactics are too predictable, it cannot win, it has players like Josh Low and Andy Johnson, and it's manager wraps it's players in cotton wool to protect them from criticism, making daft excuses for them all the time.

If that sounds like us, then yes, we are a club in crisis.

Perfect. Exactly right.

crisis smisis dickalickerdidis, hisis mysis fingerlickerbisis.

it's very early to be saying crisis. 26 games left in a very average league with the prospect of some money to spend in jan. It's very depressing but for me not yet a crisis.

I repeat... lol

Bit sensationalist isn't it?

bluearmy5 is clearly on the same wavelength as me. Yes it's a bit rough, but it's by no means a crisis.

As for Scarborough... now that's a bloody crisis!

Thanks  I like to think I made a pretty good attempt at naming crisis conditions :P

(me and you are about to disagree again...) Money to spend in January. Let us give it all to Rob Kelly to spend. Aren't you at all worried that Kelly will bring in more shit like Low and Johnson, and further worsen our playing team? Doesn't it worry you that if he brought in players who are of the standard Low and Johnson are, he'd play them just so that he doesn't appear to be backing down on his decisions? I think we'd be worse off after January if we let Kelly go gung-ho in the transfer market. A positive thing could well go tits-up for us.
