PompeyFox Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 8 points away from it now. Glad i didnt spend £100 going today with partner (tickets, travel and food). Needs to think sod the defence and get all players upfront TRYING to score. Because if we dont start scoring we will be in the relegation fight. I hope not, but can see it happening.
MADLEVEIN Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 over 4 months to go yet ........no worries :w00t:
Mark Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I was worried about this when we was linked with Levein. Not blaming him at all, but Heart's had a real problem scoring this season. We just aint got the players to create chances though to be fair, i'm sure he'll get a few players in on loan during January.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 why has he waited till january why couldn't he do it when he first came in
Steven Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 why has he waited till january why couldn't he do it when he first came in 50062[/snapback] Didn't know what he wanted, no money, board not backing him, waiting for a PL club to come in for our players in January.

Mark Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 Elliott's and Benjamins wages will be a huge help at the end of the season, as will all the one year contract crap Adams signed. He'll get his own players in the Summer. We've just got to stick by him, hope we stay up and judge him on next season.
Cat Burger Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I've been worried for this entire season, I'm ashamed to say it but I'm gradually passing the point of caring, in the 7 games I've seen this season the passion and quality have been sadly lacking, I'm not your hardcore fan, I have to be motivated and I have high standards, especially as I only began supporting City in about 98 under O'Neill. I'm being honest here so you can lay into me if you want.
PompeyFox Posted 28 December 2004 Author Posted 28 December 2004 I bet Adams is laughing his socks off, what he probably got for chrimbo......... Leicester will be the only club in Div1 next season with a parachute payment from the premiership......
Leicester_Mad Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 it is a real possibility. We are shite and if results and goals dont appear then the relegation battle will be upon us. Its a sad day when the likes of Burnley and Crewe are higher up the football ladder than Leicester City
rotherhamfox Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I feel sorry for Levien, theres not much he can do, he has inherited a team completely lack of talent and caring. Give him time and lets see what happens.

Steven Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 When I look at the utter crapness that MA has left behind, I reminded of the way in which the board supported MA to the bitter end and the fact that the same board are now saying everything will be alright in the stadium takeover. I feel sorry for CL as it is obvious he has a bigger task than he or anyone else thought and is not getting the support he deserves. <_<

Ash Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I don't think we should worry about relegation , we're too good for relegation !

Anish Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I am genuinely worried about relegation after these inept performances. We don't look like we're ever going to score, and our defence is woeful too. I am not going to lay all the blame at Micky Adams either - that is the easy option and that suggests that our predicament is solely down to him. In my opinion Levein has got a lot to answer for - under his stewardship the same bunch of admittedly rubbish players (no passion, no desire, no commitment etc) have become a worse team - we are in a worse position now than we were when Adams left, and we are further away from the playoffs (as well as closer to the relegation zone). After witnessing today's performance I was embarrassed by our players. What on earth do they do in training? Nobody was passing, moving, trying to support one another and quite frankly we are a joke. From Taylor's wayward goal kicks yet again to Scowy's typical slowness and lethargy - it was painful today.

Scow Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 I think we're in big trouble. Funny how expectations can turn after a few games, but we do look desperate going forward. We have no pace, energy or ideas throughout the side, I feel like a broken record saying this. However, after today, and many other performances this season, that is evidently the case. We're certainly not too good to go down. We have 'big name' players, but that means nothing if none of them give a shit about our club. I really do fear for us unless Levein changes things around. Our away form has been good up until now, and thats what is keeping us midtable. However, as soon as that goes to pot, we'll struggle. Our home form is absymal, and I can't see that changing very quickly. I can't believe we're talking of relegation mid way through the season, but it's a huge possibility. We need to made radical changes, we need more pace, energy, skill and passion. More importantly, we need to score goals, and Scowcroft has been utter shite over the past few games, I hope he's off in January, he doesn't seem capable of making an impact for us upfront with Connolly. But which Premiership club would want him? I've supported Scowcroft this season, but his last few performances have been utter shite, looks like he's preparing for a move.

Guest Daniel Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 Everyone knows Mark as Scowy, would ruin it if he changed.
davieG Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 At the moment Scowlie would seem more appropriate
SilverFox Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 Change it to Slowcroft...it sounds similar, but conveys all our thoughts and feelings about him. 8 points...frightening isn't it. I remember thinking that Leeds were in danger before the christmas period...now they are above us. Dark days indeed. COME ON LEICESTER!
