davieG Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Shared ownership??? It's always an option It's no fun sharing it with a bank, all those people queuing up at your front door to get cash out.
Daggers Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 It helps if you do it at least 4 years ago!!! I did it in Northampton - where our house was bought for £55K in 1989 and then sold for £30K because of the Tories. Then we did it in Southend where we bought for £125K but ended up with sky-high interest rates and a repossession sale for £105K! If it was up to me I would shake the wife vigorously and remind her of these two unfortunate forrays into ownership. But, being female, she seems to think everything will be lovely this time around...
Katy Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Purchased a house in 2001 for £34000 - sold it in 2003 for £59950. Ahh those were the days, i'd love to own my own house again but I can't see it happening

So the interest rates can do what they want, as they say, I ain't bovvered!!!!
The People's Hero Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Its too hot to be chained to a computer when you dont have to be. Maybe people have lives afterall You tell me the username of one person who posts on here regularly who has a life. Then I'll tell you the username of a person who posts regularly on here who is obviously doing a good job at pretending to have a life. Me? I have no life.

I was going to put up a staunch defence for myself, but I don't have a life either: Work - Computer - Work - Computer - Home - Computer - TV - Bed (Repeat ad infinitum)
