Pardew Sacked from West Ham United

I think someone at LCFC needs to give a big lecture to all "fans" who seem to think MM is the next Roman Ambramovic, and let the know exactly what this means for the club.

Curbs is going to go to West Ham, will tell you that now for free.

Guss Hiddink is Russian national manager, he's going nowhere.

Claudio Raneri is A) a liabilty and B) not coming to mid table Championship team, which is what we will be even with Manadrics money.

Time to get real people.

But there's always Redknapp he sounds good on the telly and his Mrs is well shaggable aint she. Nailed on him and his Mrs.

WHU have picked up 10 points from a possible 42 since the arrival of the 2 Argies.

The man has done ok to get them promoted, but they have not really done well in the Prem. We need to think longer term and install a manager who will get us up, and KEEP us up!!

He has made questionable decisions, not least the buying of the 2 Argentinians, and yes the football might be attractive but ultimately the league position does not lie.

LWICD, I am soooo surprised at you.

Most of his signings have been decent. The Argies are where his record is shit.

With all the mystery surrounding them, it's hardly fair to lump the blame entirely on Pardew for their signings. For all we know, it could have been part of that planned takeover by some nutty Iranian bloke. Perhaps Pardew had no real hand in signing them. Who knows?

Get her in! :P

Very harsh on the guy. OK hes lost 5 out of the last 6, but after last years success they are bound to have a crap season.

Please, please for the love of God and all that is holy, NO NO and thrice NO!!!

Curbs would be good, Guus Hiddink or the Tink.

Curbishly was never gonna come here, same woth Hiddink and by Tink I assume you mean Ranieri? lol

This could be a great new era at City - or we could blow it...

I think Pardew is a cock. I remember me and my dad going to Reading away the year we went up. The game was cancelled at half time when both captains and Mickeh said they were happy to continue. He bitched cos we were getting on top and that was that £70 down the toilet and no partial refund/discount on rearranged fixture. Bastard.

I was at that game, even though I'm not a real fan :rolleyes::rolleyes: (© FOTM).

As I recall, both the abandonment and the lack of a refund had more to do with John Madejski than Pardew.

I think we can do better than Pardew for a new manager. He's damaged goods a bit like Dowie

...or Harry Redknapp...

He didn't buy the Argies. Their arrival was arranged by the then board.

I think he would have steered them out of trouble, but the trigger-happy Icelanders felt otherwise.

Expect Sven to arrive at Upton Park in time for Christmas. He has a far superior track record, and bigger profile, than Curbishley!

Meanwhile Pardew will find another club before long, maybe even us. Mandy didn't do too badly working with another ex-hammers boss...

I know quite a few West Ham fans and having spoken to 5 or 6 of them last night (through coincedence really), they are ALL pleased to see the back of Pardew. Apparently he used baffling team selections and baffling tactics.

Also, the case of them playing attacking, enterprising football just hasn't been the case this year apparently. I'm not sure how much of that is down to Pardew or what was going on behind the scenes, but there does seem to be quite a large segment of the WHUFC support who are pleased he has gone...

Not all of, but some of that may be related to a case of the after the Lord Mayor's Show syndrome. And that Pardew was never really a West Ham man, anyway.

Well, I quite agree... I think he was treated a bit unfairly. Having said that, I suppose they know more about it than we do.

From an outsider's point of view though, he's done a good job and just had a bit of a blip this season which seems understandable given the circumstances.

I suppose if the new boss wanted him out though, it's better he goes now than have it drag on and get acrimonious and boring.
