In the bottled beer stakes it is a surefire winner. That Bravura Brazilian stuff is worthy of mention as is Carlsberg Export and Corona.

Nationwider Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Only 275ml per bottle. I tend to go for quantity, rather than quality. Nice on draught though, if you can get it.
Filbert_Ross Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 cant be bothered with bottled beers. give me a pint of stella anyday. becks is nice though.
Maybes Posted 11 December 2006 Author Posted 11 December 2006 Budweiser on draught is ace. Not strong enough . Although can be nice occasionally
lookwhaticando Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Budweiser on draught is ace. Sure it is... if drinking piss water is your thing. Not strong enough . Although can be nice occasionally Bingo.
Bert Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Well i am sorry you big great party pooping beer tasting professionals.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 December 2006 Posted 12 December 2006 Well i am sorry you big great party pooping beer tasting professionals. I'm by no means a beer expert. I do know that Bud tastes like piss and Carlsberg red is nice. There's others but I can't be arsed to name them. I don't turn down a Stella, that's for sure.

lookwhaticando Posted 12 December 2006 Posted 12 December 2006 Hardcore, or what?? It has been said. Wasn't a huge fan of Stella, until I drank larger quantities of it. Then it hit me - this isn't a bad bevy. I managed to convert (not intentionally) a friend from Stella to Bass though. Man he lurrrve the Bass. He doesn't like pissy Yank-beer either... and he's Canadian.

If you are talking pissy Yank-beer, never go near Miller Lite. Absolutely dreadful "beer". Canadian Beer is piss water as well.......... Sam Adams is where it is at.
Random Burglar Posted 12 December 2006 Posted 12 December 2006 Has anybody tried the new Becks Vier? Its only 4% and comes on tap, its the dogs.
Suffolk_fox Posted 12 December 2006 Posted 12 December 2006 Budweiser Budvar - the original, and if you can find it on tap it is the dogs Warsteiner - Mad stuff, again if you can find it on tap, fantastic Stella, Krony - no need to comment, great beers Hoegaarden White - Unusual taste, puts you on your ar$e quickly Becks - Lovely and popular. I have a thing for peeling the labels off though. Go figure.... Rule of thumb - if it comes from Germany, Belgium or in some cases France, it won't be bad at all. American beer is like making love in a canoe - ****ing close to water!!!!

The People's Hero Posted 12 December 2006 Posted 12 December 2006 The point of choice is real ale, everytime.
